“The room and hotel were not clean. The shower especially! The tv didn’t work and they were full so couldn’t move us to another room. We asked for a discount but they said because I paid through Expedia there was nothing they could do. We will not be back, we travel to this area once a month. No tv??? They should check these things. The property does not live up to the photos online. Buyer beware!!!”

“I recently stayed at the University Inn in Boiling Springs, NC and it was a great experience. It seemed to be an older hotel but he rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any requests.

“Stayed in room 427 for only one night.
The only reason I didn’t give a lower rating was due to the night clerk who was very nice although she seemed like she had a pressing issue that needed to be addressed.
The hallway carpet is absolutely disgusting with various stains. Our sink drained so slowly that I thought we had the plug in the down position.

“The room was dirty. Sticky floors, stained sheets, dirt in all crevices, worst of all there was male genitalia drawn on the bathroom wall that my 6 year old asked me why someone drew that there, and second to that I was charged by Expedia the money came off my card just for the staff member to tell me my payment declined and I had to repay after arguing with him and showing him my itinerary # confirmation email and bank statements, he still refused to give me my room so I was double charged for……
