“A must go midway place if you travel from Londonderry to Dublin (or vice versa). Reasonable price & good food in the bar & restaurant. If you drive there, your car can be parked next to your room, extremely convenient. ”

“Great stay for a wedding in Cabra Castle, just down the road. Room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Very friendly and welcoming too!”

“Das Zimmer war sauber und konfortabel. Es fehlte jedoch ein kühlschrank was für ein executive Zimmer negativ ist. Das Personal war genetell freundlich. Nur in der Bar ear der Service eher miserabel. Das Frühstück war zum vergessen. Den Pool konnte ich nicht benutzen.”

“Lovely place to stay. Was the perfect last night in Ireland for us. Their family dog Gracie was a big highlight for our little girl who played with her. Thanks for having us!”

“Staff very friendly and nice ! Wonderful”

“The walled garden was lovely in the sunny autumn weather. My Room 234 was special. Noticed a small cutback in the menu options since my last visit. eg No chowder. But I will be back asap. I love Ballymscanlon”

“Absolutely stunning room and property. Staff goes above board Everytime i stay there”

“Beautiful property and superb gardens. Tranquil and relaxing. A little gem. Michael & John both great hosts.”

Shower on the 5th floor was clearly my punishment for past sins because it would go from scalding to freezing over and over without changing the faucet. At 6 am. Expedia description of the hotel says it has a……

“Nice facility with restaurant and pub on site. Great breakfast.”

“Really clean, modern room, comfortable beds and decent shower. Plenty of storage for a couple of nights. Lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. Room could benefit from a hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities but appreciate its basic. Handy location near to plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Absolutely beautiful and enchanting facility with very accomodating proprieters.”

“Innisfree House is amazing. It is over a century old Edwardian townhouse owned by Robert DeNiro’s doppelgänger. He is an excellent host a pours a fabulous shot of TyrConnell whiskey and is a great conversationalist and family man. Our room was opulent and cozy. Breakfast was served in the dining room every morning with a variety of choices from the menu. This was included with the room. There is a coffee shop and market directly across the street. The lady who runs the place is Gitte,( I……
