We had our family Christmas here and it was perfect. Fully equipped for family fun - we did s’mores around the fire and the host provided a beautifully decorated tree for the holidays! There were 6 adults and 7 kids 3-10 who overnighted plus others who came during the day. We did lots of cooking, eating, drinking and game playing in addition to gifting. Absolutely perfect!!

The home is lovely and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. Plenty of room for us to enjoy the fire pit and play games at the dining table. Would not hesitate to book here again.

This is the second year we booked this house for some fun and relaxing team building. We booked a fishing guide and had a wonderful time during our stay. The host is amazing and her properties are immaculate, clean and have everything you need to have a wonderful time! Definitely will be back again and highly recommend this property.

This property is absolutely beautiful. It was full of toys for our kiddos and set up perfectly for our family getaway! We fished with guide out of Buncombe Creek Marina. This property was extremely close to the lake! We will definitely book this property again!

Our family had a big get together over the holiday weekend here and it was really wonderful. This is an adorable home, well equipped for cooking, playing and hanging out. Lots of room and we absolutely loved the covered patio and backyard area. Bedrooms are good sized with comfortable beds. Our large group totally enjoyed the stay. There is something for everyone here and we can't wait to come back.

Our stay at Kamden's Place was filled with so many blessings! The kids spent many hours playing outside on the playground and digging in the sand as well as sitting around the fire pit. The beds were so comfortable and we were provided with everything we needed. We enjoyed every second of our weeekend in this little gem in Oklahoma!

We had seven adults and it was perfect. Tons of space to hang out in every area of the property. It had everything that you could think of for us to do food prep. The host was very responsive to every question that we had. Beds were really comfortable and the fans in every room was an nice touch. Had two full size refrigerators that was a plus for beverages. Highly recommend staying in this house.

This house met our expectations. House is comfortable, good layout, clean, nicely decorated. 3 bedrooms had to share a bathroom though; while 1 bedroom had its own bathroom.

We brought eight people are were glad to have nine beds in all, with an easy division of access to bathrooms in the house. Each person had space to relax, sit at the table, work in the kitchen, or lounge by the fire, and we all enjoyed the location and closeness to the lake without actually being on the lake. I especially loved the fully stocked kitchen tools of plates and all cook ware necessary.

Kera is hands down the best host! We travel a lot and have stayed in many different places. Kera’s home is perfectly decorated and stocked with absolutely anything you can imagine you’d need. We cooked a lot on our trip and the kitchen lacked for nothing! The house was clean, cozy and comfortable for our entire family. She adds so many personal touches, like the kayaks, movie collection and the fire pit. The neighborhood is amazing. It will definitely be an annual trip for our family. We are planning our next trip. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time at Kamden Place and Sailor House across the street (both owned by the same person). The owner is kind, helpful, and prompt at responding. She was a pleasure to work with!! She answered any question we had. The houses were pristine and exactly as described on the listings. Very nice furniture and decor. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great stay. I would highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!!

What a lovely home. Access to the lake for swimming, water play and boating is just a few blocks away. Lots of toys and outdoor fun for little kids. Room to sleep large groups of people with ease. Large dining area , fun games to play and lots of seating, inside and out to accommodate people wherever they may want to sit. Could use a large frying pan for cooking for larger groups of people, especially to scramble eggs! Also a few more table knives would be nice. Otherwise, it really is a great place to make lasting memories.

We had a group of 11 for a fishing trip and had plenty of space for the entire group to enjoy themselves. The front porch was a perfect spot to hang out and the grill out back came in very handy throughout the weekend. The kitchen was full of plates, bowls, utensils, and anything else you'd need. The home was spacious, clean and exceeded our expectations. Our fishing trip left from Buncombe Creek Marina (an easy 12 minute drive), but there was also a boat ramp just a few blocks away. Kera was also very helpful and contacted me ahead of the trip to go over any questions I had about the house and it's amenities. I would definitely recommend this home if you're looking for a nice place with space for a larger group.

The online photos do not do this home justice. We have rented many, many, many homes and cabins through HomeAway and this by far has been the best. When we arrived, we were greeted by Kim, the housekeeper who was great. She offered very useful tips, suggestions as well as leaving her number in case we needed it. Ms. Philippi's home is beautiful and stocked with everything you would need. The only thing you have to pack is food, drinks and any personal items. The kayaks provided by her were an added plus. The kids thoroughly enjoyed having those to use. None of our family wanted to leave. We will be coming back! Thank you Ms. Philippi and Kim our short getaway was more than we could have asked. Thank you for allowing our family to make great memories.

This house was perfect for our needs. It was spacious, open-concept, and had a wonderful outdoor space. The host exceeded my expectations! They were very communicative and responded to my questions in a flash. The only downside was that there was a burn ban in effect, but we transition our s’mores desert into a smore dip and made it in the oven instead! I could not recommend this stay enough!
