“We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. The road to the cottage is about 7 minutes long and bumpy, but worth it to be in such a beautiful location. Here are some details about the cottage. In the picture shown, the Aonach cottage rental is the right half of the building. The left half is another cottage. Inside the cottage, there are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the……

“What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!”

“Really liked this place, a few minor blips, or would have given 5-star. GREAT location -- had a lodge on the water -- great views of the ocean! Had a hot tube which was enjoyed after long hikes. Restaurant had great food and drink. It was kind of setup as a hotel and then out lodges, which gave it a kind of camp ground feel. Our lodge had a kitchenette in it with a washer-dryer combo -- so if you want to do laundry and pack lighter -- great option. The view here off our deck was awesome……

“Super cozy A-frame cabin with spectacular views of the lock. Was compact for the 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but we all fit and enjoyed our stay. Tiny and stocked kitchen. The view is definitely the main draw, and was nice to use the hot tub too. Walking to the hotel to have dinner was a nice perk.”

“What a fantastic house, with amazing views straight over to Ben Nevis and the Aonachs! Easy to find, a really roomy house with excellent facilities - all rooms ensuite, comfortable beds, nice and warm with a lovely fire, a very well-equipped kitchen and super hot tub. Plenty of parking and room for all our outdoors kit. Very helpful owner with quick responses to texted questions. An easy drive to Banavie / Fort William or cycle along the Caledonian Canal. Thanks very much - I hope we'll be back!”
