The Memling hotel is just fine... the beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful and friendly, and it is lovely to have an outdoor pool, with music poolside on the weekend. It is also near some great, quick restaurants to grab hummus, shawarma, or other Lebanese snacks! However, there were tiny cockroaches in my room (although the cleaning staff are amazing! I think the cockroaches are just a product of the general decline of the hotel). Consider having products on hand to repel mosquitos for poolside diners- like sprays, coils, or candles! That would be a really nice touch to elevate the experience! The prices are insane... $6USD for a can of Coke?! A $20USD+ croque madame?! It all feels a bit exorbitant. Yes, Kinshasa is expensive, but this is over the top! Anyways- overall a pleasant stay! I just think there is better value for your money in Kinshasa!

My stay at Memling Hôte was great! The room was clean, service was excellent and the pool was fantastic! We were able to swim in the evening! I will definitely go back there and recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Kinshasa!

I love Memling Hotel. The rooms smell wonderful, very clean and the restaurant is excellent. I highly encourage this place. The one down fall is the outside surroundings, but that is the case with every hotel in Kinshasa.
