It was truly a home away from home! We loved having a full kitchen, living room, and separate bedrooms. The staff was very helpful and welcoming at check-in. There was plenty of parking, and the room was exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

Don’t let the people that mention the past uses of this property deter you from staying here. The rooms are clean and spacious we stayed in number 1 The person checking us in was very helpful. When we pulled in we almost left, But once I went inside and saw how clean it was I was glad that I went in to check it out. We had a nice suite with 2 bedrooms full kitchen and a comfortable living room. No road noise or hallway sound at all. The gentleman looking after the place works very hard and has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Nice guy.

Our room had no AC and it was not a pleasant sleep. Only 1 window in the living space and it was suggested to us to put the small fan in the window for air circulation. Didn't like that we needed to keep the window open on the main floor facing the main entrance. The bathroom door also faced the open window and we had to keep the bathroom light on all night because there were no night lights. Other than that, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

I had a very good stay at the Prospector’s Inn in Kirkland Lake. I originally booked a one bedroom, so I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a huge three bedroom suite at no extra charge. It was far more space than I needed and offered excellent value. The staff were fantastic. Even though they were off site when I arrived, they immediately came back and the check-in process was easy, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. As a motorcyclist, I really appreciated that they let me park my bike right outside my window under the overhang. It was a thoughtful gesture that gave me extra peace of mind. The suite was clean and comfortable. The only minor issue was a lingering smell that reminded me of cooking oil or French fries. It wasn’t a major concern, and I suspect it may have been related to the third room to repair a roof leak prior to my stay. Overall, I had a good experience. The unexpected upgrade, the clean accommodations, and the outstanding customer service made this an easy place to recommend.
