「The Villa was lovely, spacious, clean and the 6 of us had all we wanted, bedrooms and bathrooms each, even an extra bathroom. The pool was great too, real suntrap. We used the local bars and restaurants, all good, particularly D-Bar and Ta-Vestru. The little supermarket behind the church was great, an Alladins Cave! We used the open-topped bus for a tour of the island and found some great bays and sites which we revisited by local taxis and bus services. The owner was particularly friendly and...

「Fabulous location in a quiet residential area, great for large groups, very homely and comfortable Excellent outdoor space to relax in. Snooker table (half size) and table football great fun for all. Easy transport links locally. Charlene is a fabulous host who responds immediately to any query. Highly recommended」

「Lovely to stay with Ray and Maria again; we were last there thirty years ago when our children were small. Apartment 2 is comfortable and spacious and the pool deck is surrounded by palm trees! The weather was mixed so we caught up on Amazon and YouTube series some evenings. The Santa Maria Estate is a peaceful residential area a short walk away from Central Mellieha. We used the running track most days. We hope to return and thank Maria and Ray for sharing their lovely villa with us.」

「The property is very clean and has beautiful views. The host lives at the property and provides a lot of assistance and really wants people to enjoy their their stay. He is very involved and always around. There is a small pool kids can enjoy. We liked staying in the area away from all the crowds. You can get to a bus stop but if you can drive that would be much easier, the bus system is pretty slow.」

「Our host Melita was wonderful to deal with. Attentive and helpful, Melita was informative about her home country, responded quickly to our needs, but also respectful of our privacy. What a lovely lady and great host - we would stay there again ! It's also within walking distance to a handy grocery store and lots of great restaurants. The pool area is quite special and as the other 2 units were unoccupied, we had the whole area to ourselves - this is where we enjoyed our Mediterranean breakfast...

「Our extended family (6 adults, a teen, 2 children and a baby) stayed in Villa Dorado last week and would highly recommend it. We all enjoyed the infinity pool with a sea view, the outdoor barbeque, the rooftop terrace, the storage space, pool table, etc. With kids and a pool, the washing machine and tumble dryer were particularly helpful.
