The owners were extremely friendly, and understand that we were the very first to stay, so they are new at this. I only have some suggestions. Hans soap in all bathrooms along with a little basket od bath essentials for guest. A small trash can in the bathrooms. When advertising 5 bedrooms, there should be a bed in every room. Dish clothes and towels. The house is truly beautiful and so is the neighborhood. So close to everything. I would absolutely stay there again with the suggestions I gave.

We stayed in Guelph from December 25 to January 1. The house was close to all the amenities we needed during our stay and was located on a quiet cul-de-sac. The house is a bit dated, but it worked very well for our group, with five bedrooms and plenty of space in the common areas. All the beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and there were lots of pillows and blankets available. The new washer and dryer in the basement came in handy. The living room has a large TV, comfortable couches, and the formal dining room can accommodate up to eight people. The home was warm and comfortable throughout our stay. We were traveling from Western Canada on Christmas Day and arrived very late that night, so the owner kindly offered to pick up a few breakfast items for us for the next morning, which was very thoughtful. The property could benefit from some minor maintenance in the coming months and a more thorough deep clean in the kitchen, but overall it met our needs well. Overall, we were happy with the property, and the owner was a pleasure to deal with.

Myself and a colleague brought two graduate students to a conference in Guelph and rented this house for the four of us for 6 nights. The host was excellent with communication, sending us an amazon order of kitchen items (kettle and pots) when requested as the ones in the home were really decrepit. The neighbourhood was fine, although the house backs onto a an apartment complex so there was a lot of activity and dogs barking etc. The major issue we had with the house was that it wasn't very clean. Everything was sticky and grimy - even the 'clean dishes' in the cupboards. We found lots of old rotten food in cupboards/fridge as well, but our one main complaint was just a general griminess of the house, and a lack of usable kitchen items unfortunately. For the price it was unexpected.

Nous avons séjourné 28 jours en janvier 2026 alors que nous devions aller à OVC pour 4 semaines. Maison spacieuse située sur un croissant de rue très tranquille avec un grand terrain clôturé. Voisinage tranquille, cordial et sécuritaire. Très bien situé. A distance de marche ou moins de 5 minutes de voiture d’OVC, centres commerciaux et restaurants. Plusieurs de chemins piétonniers et parcs à proximité. Si disponible à notre prochaine visite, nous y séjournerons encore.
