「I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway. My wife and I are old and very unsteady on or feet. It would have been nice for us old folks if we had known what we were getting into. But it’s great if you are young. 「I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is wonderful, just a short walk to downtown, where you’ll find cute little shops, restaurants, and the delicious Sluy’s Bakery. Just be prepared for the uphill walk back—it definitely gives you a little workout! Carol recently replaced two smaller windows with a large picture window, and the view is fabulous! 「This is a very comfortable, quiet place to stay on Bainbridge. Easy communication with the host, nice personal touches like homemade granola and other breakfast foods.There were books available to read, a big tv if you need it, and a nice little outdoor spot to sit. I was solo and it was lovely and I think it would work well for a couple.」

「Our stay over the weekend was fantastic! Our host was incredible and communication was great. The amenities were above and beyond what we expected. My only issue is with the communication through expedia. Overall, if you are looking for a place to stay in that area, this is a real gem.」
