Welcome to a dream cottage where you’ll wake up to birdsong and the gentle murmur of the stream. Here you’ll stay right in the heart of Brösarp’s famous hills, surrounded by meadows, deciduous forests, and flowing water. With a hiking trail just across the fence and easy access to great food, a vineyard, and a sandy beach, this spot offers everything you could want from Österlen.
The property features two houses situated close to each other. As a guest, you have access to one of the houses—“Lillhuset”—and everything else on the grounds. Lillhuset is cozy and personally decorated, with a fireplace, piano, record player, and walls lined with books. The loft features one room with two single beds and one room with a double bed. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a dining area for four people. There is also a newly renovated bathroom, a laundry room with a washing machine, and a double sofa bed in the living room.
For larger groups, there is a garden shed for an additional 2–4 people, partially dug into the hillside. It is equipped with a refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, and a small dining table for breakfast or light meals. Additionally, there is a sunroom just a few meters from the house that serves as a dining area for up to 8–10 people. It features a stove that radiates warmth and a refrigerator for beverages.
It’s worth noting that the ceiling height in Lillhuset is classically Skåne-style, meaning relatively low. This is especially true in the sleeping loft, which also has a sloped ceiling. So taller guests in the group might want to reserve a sleeping spot in the garden shed.
The garden is lush and varied, with several small nooks and spots to relax. The houses, courtyard, and lawn are sunlit but shielded from view. Here you’ll find seating areas, a hammock, a pergola, and everything you need for summer barbecue evenings—including a small wood-fired pizza oven. A staircase leads up to the meadow, where wildflower meadows meet lawns, fruit trees, and play areas for the little ones. There is also a vegetable garden and a greenhouse where food and flowers are grown. Another staircase leads down to the river—to a sauna, cold bath, and peaceful moments in nature.
Discover Haväng Beach three kilometers away and Skepparp’s vineyard just 500 meters from the house. Explore Hallamölla Waterfall, the northern slopes of Brösarp, and Stenshuvud National Park. In the village of Ravlunda, up the hill, you’ll find artisan bakeries and farm shops, and in Kivik, there’s Buhres’ seafood paradise with restaurants and delicacies.
