"This was a fun venue. Perfect for 2, it might have been a bit too cosy for 4. Although, in warmer months (we visited in Feb) more living could be done outdoors. Somewhere between camping and bedsitting, as you'd expect on a converted bus there isn't much luxury, but everything is good enough, and the novelty sustained us for 2 nights. "Good location - about a 20-25 minute stroll into the centre. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchenette in the room and a good shower. Quiet and nice view over the snow covered mountains from our room. No staff so it’s self check in but they sent comprehensive instructions and we got into our room without any issues. "I felt very safe and secure in this shared apartment sort of setup. My room had its own lock and there were three bathrooms for 4 rooms so I had no issue with the bathrooms. Good deal for my short stay and I’ve stayed in a few different hotels/apartments in Reykjavik."

"Hlemmur Suites was a great place to stay! It was extremely clean and spacious. The suite is also close to many shopping and dining areas, making everything accessible. The only down side is that there is no parking available, but other than that, it was a very comfortable place to stay. I would book again if the opportunity comes! "

"I booked this property at the last minute on arrival in Iceland after midnight. I had a VRBO reserved, that is a whole other story. I called and spoke to Gunnar at the property, he was able to confirm a room available and get me checked in on arrival. The room was clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect able to walk to many Reykjavik sites, unlimited dink g and entertainment options, pubs, restaurants, music, shopping."

"The property felt like home away from home. It was close to the city 15 mins by car. The grocery store was across the street within walking distance. The apartment was spacious. It had all the amenity needed as my home would have, cook top, refrigerator, nice closet for storage, comfy sofa, shared washing machine and dryer in all floors. The property manager was quick in answering all questions no matter today or night. I did not want to leave. Best experience I have had staying away from home....

"We really enjoyed staying at Day Dream L23! It was located in the heart of Reykjavík on a residential street, which made our experience of the city more authentic. The room was cozy and warm and had everything we needed. The kitchen was super useful, as we made some of our meals at home. The hotel was a short walk to shopping, dining, the harbour and public transit. Overall amazing experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

"We wanted to be immersed in the Dutch culture & this property felt like we were. I traveled with my 2 adult daughters so wanted more space than a small hotel room. The bedroom contained 2 single beds & the living room had a pull out couch & all were very comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen area had everything needed for our stay. "

"I really enjoyed my 3 night stay. Being able to pay 50 euro extra to check in at around 7am when I arrived was so convenient and worth it. The location was great, with plenty of great shopping and dining options right outside the front door. I ate breakfast at the hotel daily, which was included in the rate and delicious. I booked the Deluxe Room on the top floor and found it spacious and comfortable. The blackout curtains worked great to block out light. The area in front of the hotel is a walking street only, so noise was minimal and I could not hear cars. The bed was so incredibly comfortable, I slept amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. "
