Amazing location/views and clean home. Fast internet. Peaceful neighborhood. Comfy beds. Came to swim for my son’s bday, but unfortunately, it took until day 6 out of 8 to receive necessary swim passes for my entire family to use the amenities without arguing with Running Y staff each time. Good communication from VRBO/Vacasa but all difficulties were blamed on unresponsive local property manager. Also beware of loose back deck railing.

Painting debacle

We arrived to find the unit was not ready for guests. The exterior of the entire unit was undergoing a paint job. The windows were covered with plastic along with dirty paint tarps around the exterior. All outdoor lighting was covered. So much for the view!!! It was obvious the owners didn’t communicate with property management as this unit should not have been available. We expect a hefty refund!!!!

Great location, rental needs a bit of work

The location is amazing. The view from the living room is beautiful and serene. However, there are a few hiccups with the property that will hopefully be worked out before others stay. 1) The door was unlocked when we arrived, we expected it to be locked due to provider check in directions. 2) There is a dishwasher, but no dish washer detergent provided. 3) only 1 tablespoon of dish soap (for washing dishes by hand) was provided for our 4 night/5 day rental, so I had to drive into town which was about 40 minutes round trip, to purchase dish soap.m. 4) There were no spices/cooking oil etc. not even any salt or pepper. So be prepared to bring EVERYTHING you might need. 5) The check in directions gave a pass code for a gate but there was no gate. The directions also said there was no passcode for the WiFi, but in fact there was (passcode is on the router so we were able to connect). 6) The house was clean in some areas, but pretty dirty in others. For example, the wood floors and stairs were very dusty, and there were black human hairs and some dried material on the bedside table in the master bedroom. I was able to clean it up with paper towels easily, so it clearly just wasn't cleaned. Other minor things: no kitchen towels, few wash cloths/bath towels. The price was right, so we might stay here again, but would bring our own dish soap/dish detergent, salt/pepper, etc.
