“Beautiful, well maintained historic property. They have managed to provide modern amenities while maintaining the manor’s character. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The shared areas were extraordinary. A minor complaint was that the morning coffee had run out before 8:30 and there was no one there to replenish it. Regardless, this is a wonderful spot for a special stay. Highly recommended.”

“This was great for our family of 3 to stay. Super convenient location to Two Harbors. My kid loved the pool. We had access to both the Burlington Bay and Superior Shores swimming amenities, but the Burlington Bay area was much cleaner and better kept. Room and beds were clean and comfy, view was beautiful. Would return.”

“It was upsetting that our room was not ready upon check in. 4:00 is a pretty late check in as it is. They were unable to even give an estimate or call us when the room was ready. We were told we could call and check periodically. Unfortunately they would answer the phone and immediately put the call on hold so you couldn’t get through. The property is in desperate need of a deep clean. The room itself was pretty clean. The soap and conditioner dispensers were empty.”

“Host communication was poor. Would send email stating a message was waiting. But when accessed no message was waiting. Both hot tubs did not work. Indoor pool was so cold you could not swim. Location did not have an outdoor pool as advertised. In my opinion, the advertisement was in accurate for the location we stayed at. We will never stay at this location again.”
