"Staff were nice but apart from that….hotel room old, beds were really awful broken springs. Large brown stains on the carpet. Furniture dated and stained. Shower room was TINY!!! The shower head was utterly disgusting. Room overall was just awful. Down stairs was ok. We played games that looked and smelled like they were 30 years old. Half the dominoes were missing….the scrabble bag stunk the board itself was bar ly together. Why have these if they just don’t bother keeping them nice? Receptionist was friendly but the staff were all chatting about how crap it was! It was a bitterly disappointing stay and I would not stay again. For £150 PER NIGHT it is not worth it AT ALL!!!"

"Was welcomed on arrival by Paul the wonderfully helpful manager and upgraded to a chalet outside. Spotlessly clean room, big, comfortable bed with good quality linens. Parking was right next to our chalet which was handy.
The main hotel building is being renovated, so there aren't many facilities or amenities, but we still had a very good stay."
"Wow hillside location overlooking Mallaig port with great views across to Skye and islands. Olde worlde Highlands Hotel feel is very charming, friendly staff, super restaurant with decent menu. 1 minute drive to ferry port. Ideal."

"The staff tried their best but didn't have have much to work with. The lift didn't work and from previous reviews hadn't for quite some time. The cafe had no hot meals during our stay and the sites is quite a way out of town. The car park was an unpaved mess. Clothes hanging very limited and the TV was a cast to only, no live TV. The shower was quite good."
