5. Emily Moon River Lodge

Plettenberg Bay

"We had bats living in our roof, apparently knowingly by the owner (they built a house for them on the near cabin and they migrated to ours). We had to go to bed and sleep with constraint scratching and sliding noises, that was terrible. When we brought it to the attention of the team, they didn’t even bother apologising. "Our stay at the little private cottage in "Fynbos Ridge" was an experience we'll treasure forever. Top Knysna Hotel Reviews

THEBLOEM Guest Suites by Knysna Paradise Collection

10/10 Excellent

"Simply Perfect!!"

Turbine Hotel and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was incredible. The location is excellent, the hotel itself is quite interesting and there are many places to explore, the food and drink were excellent - as were the staff who provided them, the room was remarkable. This is a must-stay hotel if you are considering staying in the area. I would return in a heartbeat if travels bring me there - and I would bring as many as I could."

Guinea Fowl Lodge

8/10 Good

"My family of four stayed in the family room. We were a little disappointed, not to have a view of the town, but it is the only room that sleeps for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast were excellent in the morning, a great way to start the day. This is a great place to spend a couple of nights."

South Villa Guesthouse & Garden

10/10 Excellent

"Fabulously friendly and helpful hosts. The room was comfortable and clean and the bed was very comfy too. A lovely balcony to sit at in the evening afforded us a great view out to the sea. Breakfast was well executed and staff were all friendly. The property is well located - just a short drive into town. I would definitely stay here again if I wax to return to Knysna. "
