Excellent stay
Very very good hotel. The area is very relaxing and clean, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food at the hotel is also very good. Right on the beach too. Great for families and couples. Would recommend this hotel.

I liked how friendly and kind the staff were. If you had a problem they addressed in a timely manner. Rooms need better storage for clothes. Grounds are beaitiful and well kept.

Wonderful Beach Holiday
Our holiday was the best beach holiday we have had for a long time. All the restaurants are on the beach and the lights all along the beach looked beautiful. The trips were a good price and very enjoyable. So good we have booked again.

The Good and the Bad
This is an interesting place to review. On the good side, the beach is the best. Soft white sand, deep beach that’s great for walking and running, flat slow entrance into clear turquoise water. It is so swimmable and even great for little kids because it stays shallow for 50 m or more when you walk out. Also on the good side is that there are so many beach restaurants and bars (and a few minimarts) along the beach that you never have to leave the resort or beach. The evenings are just stunning as you walk along trying to select a restaurant. This was, hands down, our favourite beach in Thailand. On the not so good side. When we checked in, our room was very small and in need of repairs (min suite). We made the decision to upgrade to the family suite and it was well worth it. Get one of the three in front of the beach pool (there’s a second pool near the back of the resort). There’s no shade on the beach, but there is shade just in front of it before the pool. You need to book a lounger easy in the morning or you’ll be in the sun. The breakfast was seriously lacking (white bread only, a few Asian options, but only eggs if you want western). They do have fresh fruit, juices, tea, coffee, croissants. If we came back to Thailand we’ll return to Klong Dao beach but probably try a different resort on the beach.

The hotel and facilities need updating. The breakfast selection was very limited and the cleanliness of the restaurant area was poor. Wifi does not work in some of the rooms. There are however plenty of other restaurants and bars on the beautiful beach, the location on the beach is very good.

Avoid this hotel
This hotel was quite underwhelming to say the least, and I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. Sure it is beautiful, but with so many choices to stay on Ko Lanta, make the choice not to stay here. First of all, the hotel says it offers a shuttle from the Pier. No one was there to greet us, and it took a half hour to get someone over there once we called. The driver was very nice, but the woman with whom we spoke on the phone with and upon check-in was angry and unhelpful. Secondly, the shower in our room didn't work. All we got was an inconsistent drip. They sent someone to fix it, but it didn't improv the shower at all. The room didn't have towels (we had to ask for them), and the safe didn't work. On a good note, breakfast was lovely, although I had to ask to have it set up by 8 am the second day. The hotel is on the beach, which is beautiful, but don't expect to get anything promised on the website as far as amenities go.

This was our third time st Dr Lanta. It is good value for the money. Nice location, friendly staff and two poolareas. The breakfast is not the best but ok and you kan see the ocean from the restaurant. The shower is not good. There is no pressure.

Awful
Generally awful. Hotel staff rude and unfriendly. Rooms basic yet clean but not facilities for food or drink on site and the onsite shop had practically nothing in stock. Yes this place is cheap but it's still not worth the money. The only saving grace is the location. It's right on a beautiful stretch of beach.

koh lanta nice island for a break
Koh lanta is a very nice quite place would recommend for family's or just to get away from the hustle of phuket and phi phi really enjoyed our stay at Dr lanta services could be improved I.E food at the resort and mini mart stocked up overall nice stay there :))

Great value for the money!
This place is a great deal! Beachfront, two swimming pools, nice and clean rooms/bungalows. Ended up extending our stay for a night. I would recommend renting a motorbike to explore the island as there are other beaches with different food and bar options that are great to explore but would be hard to get to if you didn't.

The hotel was clean and as described. However, when booking, Hotels.com did not note that a third bed was not available for rooms with a queen size bed. The hotel offered to change rooms for us but it wasn't that big of a deal. Not the hotels fault. The location is well off the main road and, although quiet, was not easy to find. It was nice having a store, restaurant, bar, laundry and massage on premisses.

Good hotel but too quiet in low season
Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Picked us up from the pier. Beautiful beach. Hotels.com have this hotel advertised with all its services but the restaurant, bars etc are all closed in low season. We booked and paid for a room with breakfast but did not receive breakfast as restaurant was closed. Not the hotel's fault. Made complaint to hotels.com nearly 2 weeks ago and still have not received a reply.

ok, men ikke virkelig godt
Vi var meget overrasket, da resortet var dobbelt så stort som vi har forventet. Der er 2 Pools, en børnevenlig en, en dybere en. Vi har fået en familiebungalow, tæt på den dybe pool, som havde fordelen at vi kunne sidde i skyggen på vores terrasse og se på ungerne i Poolen. Selve Pool har ingen skygge og ved børnepoolen og liggestolene er desværre også det dårlige stil at folk reserverer liggestolene med håndklæder og ikke er på stedet i flere timer alligevel. Vi var ret overrasket at vi ikke mødte de smilene venlige mennesker ved hotellet som vi ellers har mødt andre steder. Personalet virkede småsur og utilfreds og et smil var ikke til at finde. Morgenmad var ret godt på thailandsk måde. Bungalow var rent. Badeværelset dog meget simpelt. Shampoo / Sæbebeholderen ved bruseren var muggent-gammelt og tomt og burde egentlig fjernes helt, men der var en separat flaske ved håndvasken i stedet. Desværre får gæsterne lov til at sidde halv nøgen på restauranten, som giver tit desværre en ret ulækker syn på mad - ikke særlgi appetitvækkende når, undskyld sproget, tykke, stærk behårede maver og ryg maser sig langs buffeten og sidder spisende ved bordet. Hotellet ligger lige ved stranden, dog er der restauranten i første række og stedet strækker sig langt tilbage, så at der næsten ingen bungalows / værelser er til at finde med havudsigt. Selve stranden er bred og flad - for flad for vores smag. Nabostranden Long Beach var meget mere efter vores smag, hvorfor vi flyttede efter 3 dage.

Erittäin hyvällä paikalla oleva perushotelli perheille. Ranta täysi kymppi. Paras ranta mun mielestä lantalla. Rauhallinen, mut kaikkea on. Hotellialueella kaikki lähellä, altaat, aamiainen, ranta, kauppa. Meille sattui vielä oma perhebungalow ihan altaan vierestä. Kävellen pääsee shoppailemaan ja kyytikään ei paljoa maksa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Jos jotain miinusta, niin sänky oli hieman kova.

D.R lanta
Resorten är trevlig, precis vid stranden och med 2 pooler. Lite meckigt att ta sig ut till huvudgatan, får gå en bit på stranden först. Hjälpsam personal. God frukost och rummet är bra förutom att sängen är lite för hård.

Hyvä hotelli suoraan rannalla, sijainti todella hyvä. Hotellin ravintolassa rannalla oli illalla aina happy hour, ruoka hyvää. Huone oli siisti ja sänky mukava. Kaksi uima-allasta, joista toinen selkeästi aikuisille ja toinen lapsiperheiden käytössä. hotelli oli pääasiassa täynnä ruotsalaisia lapsiperheitä.

Perfekt hotell
Trevlig personal hjälpsamma. Kan inte klaga på nånting. En dag kom en orm slingrande vid poolen då kom genast vaktmästaren och slog en knut på den och la den snyggt i en påse. Bra mat också ligger vid strandkanten perfekt läge och tuktuks bara en liten bit ifrån som alltid står redo kanon. Kommer definitivt boka det hotellet om vi kommer tillbaka till lanta..

Mysig Resort med bra pool och mycket nära bästa stranden på koh Lantasom det även finns många restauranger efter. Tuk-tuk 100 bath in till Saladan med shopping och restauranger. Det som inte var så bra är wifi= fungerar inte på rummen man var tvungen att sitta på verandan. Dåligt tryck på vattnet i duschen och hårda sängar.
