Rent och snyggt!

Vi beslutade oss för att återvända och avsluta våran Thailandresa här på hotellet som vi började vår långa resa. Hotellet har tagit till sig kritiken om städning och nu var det i toppklass! Otroligt bra städning! Personalen i receptionen mycket hjälpsam och trevlig som vanligt! Frukostbuffén var bra men värmen på vissa varma rätter fungerade nog inte som den skulle då äggröran ofta var kall. (Påtalade detta och de kikade på värmen men fick nog inte den att funka under tiden vi var där i alla fall ). Oavsett så har detta hotell ett av de bästa lägena på Klong Nin och vi kan definitivt tänka oss att komma tillbaka igen!

Room Cleaning needs a lot of Improvement

On check in was informed that there was a 3% charge for paying by debit card and then after payment was told the room we had booked was not available and had to stay in another room for the first night. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, if you wanted your room cleaned or bottled water you had to ask even when you hung the room cleaning request on your door it was ignored. A lot of the sunbeds on the beach didn’t have cushions and the ones that did had seen better days.

Perfekt läge nära stranden Klong Nin Beach. Väldigt enkel frukost trots buffé. Saknade tex pålägg . Fanns varken ost eller skinka. Personal på boendet mycket trevlig. Väldigt enkelt boende och tyckte nog att städning kunde varit lite bättre. Men allt som allt ett prisvärt boende då läget slog allt!

Der er flere ting jeg vil påpege på dette hotel, som gør at jeg kun vil give den 1-2 ud af 10 stjerner. 1. Hotellet virkede slidt 2. Havde reserveret værelse med en King size seng, men fik to enkelt senge som var hårde som sten. 3. Rengøring var ok, men sengetøjet var fyldt med pletter og hullet. 4. Ikke eksisterende vandtryk og sjældent varmt vand. 5. Køleskabet virkede åbenbart kun, når man havde nøgle i og vi havde derfor kun koldt vand om morgenen. 6. Ved udcheckning kunne man åbenbart kun betale kontant, hvilket vi ikke har fået noget information omkring. Alt i alt ikke et hotel vi vil anbefale specielt taget prisen i betragtning.

Da vi ankom kunne de ikke finde vores reservation, men personalet var søde og det lykkedes at blive indlogeret Der var intet varmt vand og et nærmest ikke eksisterende vandtryk. Trods vi sagde det flere gange lykkedes det ikke at få varmt vand den uge vi boede der. Plasticstolen på altanen var knækket på midten. Håndklædetstativet var knækket. Sengen var som at sove på en dør. Hotellet fremstod nedslidt og trænger til en meget kærlig hånd.

The staff at the Lanta Seafront Resort are exceptional! We checked 5* resorts on Lanta and the staff is no where near as good. At Seafront the staff is very attenuative, responsive and caring. The location is another big bonus. Plenty good restaurants nearby, the beach is clean, all other services in a short walking distance, including two supermarkets - Lotus and 7/11.

Great 1 week stay in April

We stayed here for a week in April. The resort is in an ideal location - quiet part of the beach but close to the 711, laundry, travel agents and shops. Beach restaurants are a 5 minute walk along the beach. The property is a little "tired" but many places are the same after almost 3 years of lockdown. The pool looks nice, but we didn't use it since we were so close to the sea. The rooms are large, have a big bed, and large balcony or terrace. The proporty is separated from the beach by the beach road, but we were still able to go to the beach everyday barefoot. The restarant does great Thai food, breakfast for 149 baht and a wonderful mango lassi. All in all, this resort is great value and I would consider staying again if I am ever back on this beach.

keep scrolling for a different hotel

i would not recommend staying here. All sorts of issues, but the largest were around the fact that there was no deadbolt or safety chain. The lock itself was a standard doorknob that could be picked by pin in about 30 seconds. Secondly the room - while it was big and spacious the smell in it was horrendous. I think they were spraying against ants (there were tons in the room). I had a horrible headache the entire 3 days I was here, which cleared up the day after I left. The restaurant on site overcharges (menu board at entrance has different price than inside). Toiletries and coffee were only replaced each second day. Beds were as hard as a rock. Location was close to beach and nice. Didn’t use pool since ocean was close. Limited beach chairs. Cleaning staff were incredibly friendly but management not so helpful. Asked to switch rooms (as a solo female traveler I did not feel safe in my room) but was told they were full. Watched others check in after me. Overhead manager offer another room his master key so they could move their stuff while their ac was being repaired. So now a guest has a master key?? Worst place I’ve stayed in my month in Asia, including many hostels. Had to request room towels and kettle upon arrival. No minibar, but a fridge.

Sehr nettes Personal, sauberes Zimmer, tolle Terrasse und Pool, super schöner Strand. Das einzige negativere war, das angeblich eig. Restaurant/ Barbetrieb des Resorts, zwar direkt am Beach aber schlicht keine Erfahrung und 0- Ambiente! Je doch kann sehr gut direkt am Strand entlang ein paar Hundert Meter weiter laufen und findet tolle gute Alternativen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

If you have no other option

The room was adequate enough for the price. The bedroom area was fine, but the bathroom was full of ants, and the sink drain was being held open by a rock. It was just kind of dingy. I stayed three nights. After the first night, the room wasn’t cleaned, but housekeeping left a roll of toilet paper and a bottle of water in a plastic bag on the counter. My main issue was with with service. There is no one at reception at night or in the morning, definitely till after 7:00 AM. I needed a cab to the ferry, and no one was there to help. Eventually two people showed up, but neither spoke English. I used google translate to ask for a cab, and both of them just kind of looked at me and walked away. Even at check in, the people at reception didn’t speak English sufficiently enough to understand what I was saying. If you have no other option, this is ok, and it is probably cleaner than some of the other places nearby, but be aware you are on your own in terms of service.
