Great little resort on a very laid back island

We had a great time at libong relax resort. It's a small resort within a small number of hits right on the beach. The food was great, staff are super friendly and it's surrounded by wildlife.

Private bungalows on a beautiful beach

What an amazing resort!! The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. Location was good, with a supermarket only a 5 min walk away. We had our own private bungalow right on the beach, and the beach was so clean and clear! We were able to snorkel and suntan without seeing another person and they have many chairs to sit on and enjoy. The room was very clean and comfortable with a large bathroom and balcony. The wifi worked the first day but completely cut out the second. The island is beautiful and so fun to explore, however be aware that it is small with limited restaurants and things to do. Overall, a great hotel and if we hadn’t already bought a ticket to leave, we would have stayed longer!

Great Location for a Quiet Retreat...

I loved this island and hotel but definitely not if looking for a party place. Just for couples and young family. Backpackers get itchy feet very quickly.

Wonderfully quiet island

Excellent location and beautiful quiet island. Nice bungalows and great people. Only downside was too many mosquitoes in the room which did not have mosquito nets! I strongly recommend the resort install mosquito nets in each non-air conditioned rooms.

Tolles Hotel direkt am ruhigen Strand

Koh Libong ist eine tolle, ruhige Insel. Sehr ursprünglich noch (die Frage ist für wie lange noch!). Relax Beach Resort ist wunderschön gelegen, der Strand ist wirklich toll und die Beach Bungalows waren einfach aber super. Es gibt kein warmes Wasser aber das hat nichts ausgemacht bei der Hitze. Wir hatten ein Beach Pavilion mit Fan. Das war ausreichend. Klimaanlage war für uns nicht nötig. Das Essen im Resort nebenan war im grossen und ganzen besser. Das Personal ist bemüht und sehr nett. Aber mit dem Englisch haben sie es nicht so, also Geduld mitbringen und langsam erklären. Nette Cocktails an der Bar. Frühstück war auch ok. Ich würde wieder hingehen obwohl schnorcheln war nicht so aufregend dort.

Kort fortalt: meget bedre end forventet. Alt var godt. Der kunne godt være lidt bedre lys til læse ved. Der er jo hurtig mørkt.Et lille kæleskab gavner i varmen. Et godt råd: tag en long-tail-båd dertil og bliv sejlet næsten helt til bungalov. En dejlig oplevelse.

Excellent choix mais réservation oubliée

Ils sont tellement relax qu'ils ont oublié notre réservation par Expédia. Enfin ils nous ont proposé une première nuit chez leur voisin le Libong Beach Resort puis nous changerons de bungalows pour revenir au Libong Relax resort. Par contre au resto ils sont beaucoup moins relax sur les prix, aussi nous avons préféré le resto du Beach Resort. Au resto du Beach Resort pour chaque plat il y a deux prix par exemple pour un fried fish il y a marqué 250/ 300, en fait 250 c'est un petit poisson et 300 un très gros poisson. Nous avons pris un très gros poisson très bien cuisiné et très bon. En se promenant nous avons trouvé une seconde alternative au village où ils préparent de très bons plats à petit prix. Nous y avons pris un petit déjeuner pour 85 Bahts pour deux avec café thé oeufs frits, riz blanc et riz gluant. Les bungalows du Beach resort sont très bien face à la mer, on peut même contempler la mer des toilettes. Il n'y a qu'une seule prise de courant. Le lit est super avec grande moustiquaire. Une grande terrasse devant pour s'assoir ou s'alonger. La plage est superbe, mais on ne peux se baigner qu'à marée haute. Il y a plein de bernard l'ermite. Il y a quelques coupures d'électricité. Lorsqu'il y a de l'électricité le Wifi fonctionne à fond. Pour venir ici de Trang nous avons payé 8O par personne en minibus depuis la gare des trains en traitant avec une agence. Arrivés à Hat Yao on a embarqué tout de suite pour 50 par personne. Arrivés à destination sur l'île un moto taxi

Another day in paradise......

Es war einfach nur traumhaft, der Name hält was er verspricht. einziger Nachteil, schwimmen bei Ebbe nicht möglich, dafür eine wunderschöne Terrase direkt am Meer. Restaurant nicht ganz billig, aber gut. Alle sehr freundlich und nett.
