"We had a wonderful time at Taketoritei Hotel Maruyama. Shuttle service was outstanding. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Room with open air Onsen we stayed was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Open air Onsen was beautiful and quiet. Enjoyed very much. Dinner was phenomenal, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Hospitality was just beyond my expectations. We highly recommend this place. "

"Everything is good except two: Dinner is all fully booked. Need to reserve before you arrive. Also, the returning shuttle requires phone booking. And they don’t come as said on every hour at 20:40 min. "

"Must be in the room by 2330 or be locked out for the night (i.e. you can never leave) despite a pizza joint 5 minures walk away ipen until 0000 as well as 24 hour Lawson and 7-11. Otherwise this is great value for your monies."
