Unser Bungalow lag direkt am Strand und war vollkommen ausreichend für uns. Das Personal war immer sehr Hilfsbereit und freundlich.

The resort is very nice but room for improvement. Nothing is ideal here for anyone handicapped; the walkways are uneven with interlocking set in sand, there are stairs to every building but no ramps anywhere, the bathroom showers have deep step-in tubs without any safety grab bars, the beach is multi level to the shore and the pool has no stairs into the shallow end with only a ladder to climb from the deep end. The breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection to chose from, the disappointment was in the daily juice, it wasn't fresh and tasted like an instant syrup water mixture. All the staff were very pleasant except the one woman that works at the front desk, she was never interested in hearing about a problem or working out a solution - very abrupt and not interested in offering any customer service - she should not be dealing with the public.

I would definitely stay here again. Very nice resort with a beach bar, pool, nice views. We stayed 3 nights but you could spend a week on this resort easily. Once you leave the resort, it’s fairly busy place. We scootered everywhere but the roads are definitely not as smooth as other places we’ve scootered around in Thailand.

The hotel staffs are helpful and friendly especially the cleaning lady name Aey. Zen at the reception desk check us in and help with the luggage. I booked this single room near the beach for a year. The room and overall hotel is outdated with basic amenities. If I have to pay more than I did it wouldn't be worth it. The beach has a huge rough rocks when you went into the water so it is pretty dangerous especially when the waves are coming in strong and knocked you down. The beach chairs and mats are pretty old and cracked. The room itself has lots of openings cracks and holes that lots of air conditioning and critters in and out of the room. Our bathroom pipes has an issue on the second day so we can hear them working on it and we later has no cold water in the sink. We have no phone in the room so we need to walk from the beach front to the front of the hotel to communicate with the receptionist. They have Line app which you can download but I don't know how often they check all the customers questions so it is best to go to whoever is working at the front desk. We would not stay here again if we were to go back to Samui. I rather stay at Cosi because it is right in town next to Samui central plaza and supermarket and night market. Samui has no sidewalk for anyone to walk. It is so busy with motorcycles and taxi and big white vans they would want to run you over. It is full of long term stayed tourists with family or couples and they drive crazy on the motorcycle. No rules.

The beach is beautiful but beware of booking a “beachside bungalow”. They’re not all exactly on the front row of the beach. Ours was a bit further back. Only like 10 seconds walk but we couldn’t really see the sea. Try to book/ask for front row beachside. It’s quite a basic hotel… but authentic Thai style. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and a short taxi to Chaweng.

First of all: the place itself is beautiful. The beach and the location are absolutely perfect. The bungalow, however, was a bit small – not a huge problem, but something to keep in mind. What was really unbearable though was the constant sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It was so bad that we had to buy air fresheners just to tolerate it. Now, what is an absolute no-go and the reason why I will never return: we rented a scooter through the hotel. I clearly showed on the calendar the exact rental period. I needed it until late in the evening, but since it couldn’t be returned that late, the hotel staff told me they would pick it up the next morning at 9am. When they came to collect it, the first thing they did was take the scooter key from me – but they refused to give back my passport, which they had kept as security. Only after I insisted, they finally brought my passport, but by then the scooter key was gone. Suddenly, they demanded that I pay for an extra day, even though everything was written correctly in the rental contract and I had already paid in full. This was nothing but blackmail – I was forced to pay just to get my passport back. To make things worse, the scooter rental owner cannot be found anywhere on Google or WhatsApp. This was a scam, and it is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel to rent scooters to guests through such shady people.

Very comfortable rooms, nice beds, lovely pool,I loved the ponds outside the rooms. Yummy breakfast. My only concern was the fridge and TV socket was very dodgy the fridge kept turning off, and the connection to the TV was making crackling noises. So I managed to pull the TV plug out to stop it from sparking, it looked to me that the plug socket was broken.
