"Disappointing Experience at Ritz Carlton, Koh Samui
I had high expectations for my stay at Ritz Carlton, Koh Samui, but unfortunately, the experience was far below the standard I anticipated.
Villa Room Issues: The villa I stayed in was surprisingly small, with old-fashioned decor. It also appeared poorly maintained, which took away from the luxurious experience you’d expect from such a high-end resort.
Limited Amenities and Poor Housekeeping: The amenities were very limited, and basic items weren’t replenished. For instance, the bathing liquid wasn’t refilled, and even after leaving a request with the housekeeping staff for an additional tissue box, it was completely ignored. Moreover, the towels provided were visibly old and had an amber, used appearance—something unacceptable for a property of this caliber.
Inadequate Management and Shuttle Service: The overall management service was very disappointing. The hotel car and shuttle services are extremely limited, with only three set time slots for round-trip shuttles to Central and the resort. This makes planning any excursions incredibly inconvenient, particularly for guests relying on hotel transportation.
Overall, my stay fell short in many areas, particularly in terms of room quality, basic services, and transportation options. I hope the management takes these issues seriously to improve the guest experience in the future.
I will not recommend to anyone to stay in such bad hotel."
