“I spent one week at Mitsis resort in October 2026. Unfortunately, despite booking a Superior Double Sea View room, my initial experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was allocated room 306 on the ground floor. The balcony faced the wall of another building, with no sea view at all (see photo). As this was not what I had booked, I had to complain to reception and request a room change. The next day, I was offered the only alternative, room 739 on the first floor, which at least provided a……

“Really good hotel. It’s a boutique and therefore you are treated especially well by the staff and family who own the hotel. The location is by the coast with 5min walk to a lovely beach area. Breakfast is good and the gym is ideal. The massage chairs are a great touch and very useful. The rooms are very good size with kitchen and with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A very good and calm place to stay and Heraklion is very nearby.”

“Beautiful resorts very accommodating staff and highly recommended”

“A Wonderful Stay at Golden Grain Beachfront Hotel! We truly had a fantastic stay at Golden Grain Beachfront Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we enjoyed every moment. It was such a lovely experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better beachfront holiday. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always on point, making us feel well looked after and helping to make our holiday even more special. The beach was……

“Staff was wonderful! Outside garden is beautiful! Needs to update the rooms!”

“Lovely hotel and lovely touches put in place for my partners birthday. Would come back!”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location. Very nice breakfast.”

“We loved our stay! The staff were friendly and there was always something to do. The pool was great, parking, food, the rooms. My daughter cried when we left.”

“We had an amazing honeymoon at Stella Island! The property was absolutely stunning, the service was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond! The food was also amazing especially at Isla and La Parilla.”

“Once you adjust to the sheer size and scale of this lovely hotel, you really appreciate how good it is. Excellent food, drink, accommodation and weather… what more could you ask. The only down side for us was the general area outside the hotel resort was quiet with very little night life to talk about, everything is at least a ten minute taxi ride away, great if your looking for some peace and quiet in a high spec resort. Overall a great hotel and well worth another visit in the future.”
