Great stay in difficult times
We wanted to stay fairly close to Calais and avoid the lorry queues so found this hotel. It was wonderful! They upgraded us as the hotel wasn’t full (due to Covid) and had organised an excellent evening meal service in the room, the table was already nicely set up and laid when we arrived. The food was home made and very tasty. Breakfast was also delicious - brought to the room. We could see that in nice weather, the location is wonderful, just a short walk to the dunes and the sea. My husband loved the free onsite parking and the girl on reception was very helpful and cheerful

In our opinion it was a little run down. The tile floors were very noisy, I woke up at 02:00 from noise of chairs being moved around - assume the bar/restaurant was somewhere below us.

Lots of hotel for your money
Hotel was large, decor was a little dated but absolutely spotless. Free parking onsite and about 10 minutes off the beaten track we had no problems accessing from the motorway. Reception were helpful but spoke only French/Flemish but we managed to check in without any problems. The family room was huge, much larger than we expected, with a typically Flemish double basined bathroom, great for getting a family ready. We had a great view over the grounds. Breakfast was continental buffet, with a decent selection of options. We used the pool which was small but big enough to some laps. Paid £120 for 2 family rooms and was really pleased how lovely it turned out.

Hotel not within walking distance of shops ,beach, nearest tram stop was 200 yards ( walkable) but not in rain! Evening dining was awkward, bistro closed 6.30 and needed to book for restaurant. Coffee making facilities in the room would have been welcome. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location, friendly staff, complimentary parking,pool and breakfast with booking. Spacious room with toilet being separate from bathroom. Very clean and well looked after. Missed the kettle in room, other than that 10 out of 10.

Good value for money and excellent amenities which include a swimming pool. Breakfast was very good too with a wide choice. My only disappointment was dinner. I arrived quite late in the afternoon and was told the restaurant was fully booked. The receptionist knew I was a lone traveller so was it really that difficult to accommodate me in what is a large restaurant? The offer of a pizza would've been gratefully accepted. As it was I was advised to go into Nieuwport in my car where the fish is good. I really didn't want to do that on what was a hot, humid evening!

Last minute booking so not sure what to expect. Hotel easily located, clean and well presented. Bedroom was probably the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Plenty of choices on the included continental breakfast. Only criticism is that they supply free bottles of water in the rooms but with star caps no way of opening them. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Ruim hotel nabij kust, erg ouderwets (wel schoon!)
Prima betaalbaar hotel op de terugreis vanuit Engeland. Hotel ligt dichtbij de kust (~800m lopen) en is zeer ruim opgezet. Kamer zéér ruim voor 4 personen (w.v. 2 kinderen), waarbij de kinderen op de bedbank sliepen. 2-persoons bed was prima, bedbank matig. Badkamer ook heel erg ruim, met 3(!) wastafels en bad-/douchecombinatie en apart toilet. Koffie en flesjes water ook aanwezig, evenals koelkastje. Hotel wel erg gedateerd, duidelijk jaren '70 ofzo. Met name de badkamer was wat oud, met zelfs nog een metalen badkuip en gedateerd wasmeubilair. Ontbijt was best oké met redelijke keuze, alleen jammer dat confiture van de goedkopere soort was. Ook sappen (uit automaat) waren slap van smaak, het leek wel aangelengd. 's Avonds in de bar en 's ochtends bij ontbijt stond de muziek vrij hard en gezien de gemiddelde leeftijd in het hotel absoluut niet passend; best drukke herriemuziek.

Centraal gelegen en alles wat je moet hebben.
Niet ver van het strand, ideale vertrekplaats om de kust te verkennen met de fiets. Het zwembad is ook zeer leuk zwemmen.

Die Lage von dem Hotel ist echt super, leider ist die Sauberkeit in dem Ganzen Hotel ein Problem. Z.b. Im Zimmer waren einige Spinnenweben, die Möbel waren Dreckig. Das Schwimmbad sowie den Wellnessbereich haben wir nicht besucht und können es daher leider nicht bewerten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das man beim der Rezeption lange warten muss kann ich nicht bestätigen. Gute und ausreichende Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten.
