- Log cabin 'Aurora' is set in the beautiful mountain area of Ylläs; Finland's number 1 ski resort. With a setting high above the Arctic Circle, the guaranteed snow throughout the skiing season makes for a perfect winter holiday. Ylläs has that special combination of peace and tranquility, yet all the winter activities you would expect from snow boarding to husky sledging and of course beginners and advanced skiing facilities. However, Aurora offers year round pleasures, as each new season arrives they each bring their own delights. In the long summer days warm temperatures mean walking, fishing, hiking, canoeing and cycling are a pleasure. As the seasons change the magnificent Northern Lights become visible, and of course Santa Claus welcomes children to his magical home in Finnish lapland!
