Everything was great. Nicely designed and maintained and managed property. Loved the morning yoga, nice amenity. Special shout out to the amazing housekeeping staff…they kept our villa immaculate, with warmth and care…we felt at home and like we had joined a family. Hope to see you soon.

Room was clean, amenities were a plus; washer/dryer, large refrigerator, and stovetop. Grounds were well kept. Location was great! Portion of resort on the water, proximity to pool and beach was perfect! Up the street was a nice shopping center, shopping and eating options.

My studio king villa was situated across the street from the ocean. I still had an ocean view from the 2nd floor. There were 2 pools-one at the villas and one at the resort on the ocean. I had access to both. Property/grounds were beautiful. My only complaint is that the food at the property wasn’t good. Neither in-room or at the Lava restaurant. Service was good, but food was not good. Hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

We stayed at the villas part. The room was great, had a kitchenette and washer and dryer in the room! Staff was very nice and helpful. The properties were beautiful. Good food at the restaurants. We took the free Ukulele class that was fun and the instructor was great. My husband rented a surf board, very affordable, and he had a great time surfing. I would definitely come back here. The beach area was right across the street, everything was perfect!!

Absolutely fantastic accommodation and location. We rented a studio which was perfect for the two of us. While smallish, every detail had been thought of and included. We were able to cook, do laundry, adventure each morning then come back to enjoy the ocean front beach, pool, and bar. There were daily activities and also daily room cleaning. It really was totally perfect and no resort fees! Don’t hesitate to book here.

This property was beautifully maintained. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and loved the convenience of a "condo" combined with the resort feel. The condos/villas are just across a quiet street from the resort yet we never felt too far away from all of the resort amenities. We found all of the staff members to be very friendly and accommodating. The pool on the condo side was a bit on the cold side. We spent most of our time at the resort pool which felt a bit under sized for the entire property, however, we managed to eventually find pool chairs each day. As an added bonus, parking is free at this resort which we haven't experienced in any other resort thus far.

I stayed in a one bedroom “villa” that had a small frig, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer in it. It was a small room, but very convenient and recently updated. I actually loved that it was so close to the parking lot so I could get out the door quick to my meetings. A 30 second walk across the street had me on the beach walking path. Plus, by staying on the “villa side” rather than the hotel side of the street, I didn’t have to pay the $40 resort fee.

overall, beautiful location, lots of things to keep you occupied, beautiful beach pool great service. The things I wished were better that check-in isn’t until 4 and have to leave at 10 AM which is rather early. you are able to hang out and store your luggage, of course. Only thing I wish was better was only one of the restaurants is open the days I was there and the first day the food was really good the second day the chicken and the fish are both dry happen to be the same day as the luau. Not sure if there’s some connection there but FYI

My wife got COVID and she had to quarantine so we canceled our Hawaiian trip. Sheraton kept the money, rather than respecting our decision to not expose other travelers and Sheraton staff to COVID. We would have much rather recuperated in Kauai than NYC. Turtle Bay respected our decision

Villa stay
Stayed for 4 nights, have stayed at the hotel many times but this was our first time in the villas. Our 1-bedroom was very small and is really only suited to sleep 3 people with 2 in the bedroom and 1 on the pullout. We had 4. It’s built in a very compact, tight way. The only thing that felt roomy was the bathroom countertop. The property is very clean and quiet with a nice (simple) fitness facility. I prefer the hotel side but we have outgrown a traditional hotel room. We will try something different in or near Poipu next time. The property manager was very helpful in sorting out an issue we had with reservations.
