“Waicecu Eden Beach Hotel was the perfect escape from the city. The hotel arranges a taxi to pick you up from the airport and then there is two options to reach the hotel #1. Via boat (roundtrip) provided by the hotel. #2. Via road , but you will hike downhill for about 5-10 minutes (would not recommend for people with knee issues. Now option #1 is the easiest, however they do not offer boat services after 6pm due to low tide. So be mindful of your arrival time. Another important thing to note is……

“The property itself is fine within expectations the staff was friendly and helpful. The area is pretty remote though and if you fly in late, getting food is not an option, nor is getting transportation. But I was able to use Grab Food to get meals delivered to me. It's a good place if you're in for a short stay to do a day trip to Komodo.”

“I stayed here with my son last week. The hotel is in a perfect location, right in town close to great places for dinner and tour bookings. The hotel is very clean and neat with an incredible view of the harbour from the pool area. The hotel staff are SO lovely and helpful. We had to order breakfast online each day and indicate the time. They do make up breakfast boxes if you have an early tour, we had a small mishap with this so double check your order at reception the night before. Room was……

“Pros: helpful and nice staff, clean bedroom and bathroom. Cons: absolute lack of maintenance, the hotel was build few years ago and since then there was no maintenance at all. Paint is peeling of the walls and ceiling, gardens without flowers, common areas look like construction yard, there is no space to hang around, sit together, etc. Fotos has been taken in the time the hotel was opened. Now it looks much different.”

“The staff is super nice but the hotel was disappointing: we cannot hang by the pool, the bathroom was not clean with water everywhere, there was no space to put our things and there was a very disturbing chemical sent sprayed automatically all day and night long. Finally, it was very noisy: we could hear a party, the family living next door and the nearby mosque. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.”

“In fairness before I booked i knew it was 23 miles away from the center but didnt think it was that far...because of the winding roads ir takes about 30 to 35 mins each way to the center of town and the hotel doesnt have a shuttle service. Taxi driver from the airport became my driver the entire time there so it worked out! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant ( Bajo Banana) had some amazing sunsets and good food. Ask for room cleanings from the owners to ensure it gets done. Other than……

“Skrækkeligt hotel. Personalet kunne ikke finde vores reservation, da vi fik et værelse måtte vi bede om håndklæder og toiletpapir, lagner var beskidte. Der var ingen rengøring på værelset i de 3 dage vi var der, måtte igen bede og rene håndklæder og toiletpapir... Der var ellers rigeligt med personale. Der var ingen information om stedet og der var svært at kommunikere med personalet, vi kunne læse os til i andre anmeldelser at der var en cafe som havde morgenmad, men ingen fortalte os om det……
