"We had stayed at Kona Village many years ago before it was destroyed by a tsunami. We were excited when we heard it had reopened, but worried that it may have lost some of it's charm. We were thrilled that it is still the unique, wonderful place it always was, but a lot more luxurious. The hales are very comfortable and quiet. The bathrooms are huge and include an outdoor shower that we used every day. The staff is amazing, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed all of the dining options and only went off property to the hotel next door for one dinner. We're already trying to figure out when we can return. We can't imagine stying at any other hotel on the big island!"

"Better facility than I expected - higher end, well maintained, everything I could possibly need for my stay. Had two minor issues that were quickly addressed & rectified. If there's one (albeit tiny) negative, the property is located pretty far to the south of Kona - you definitely need a rent car."

"This property was well past my expectations in a good way. Very peaceful and welcoming. You can walk to the shopping center and other beach front resorts with ease. Be prepared to have some type of vehicle whether it’s car, scooter, electric bike etc since most of the attractions are far from this location. "

"For my son‘s 21st birthday he said he wanted to stay away from the downtown crowds. I found this location, he was ecstatic. The place is immaculate outside, and the accommodations were great. The place is minutes from downtown, and an easy drive. There was fresh fruit and a nice welcome basket left for us. There is plenty of kitchen supplies. There are two security gates protecting the place, which the owners have provided a garage door opener for access; easy! We had a small water issue which we cleared up by calling the owners; that took about 3 minutes to fix. It was very nice talking with these people. Here’s the deal- if you want a quiet place with good accommodations and a great view, choose this place."
