"Easy to find and easy communication with the owner who did his best to help He gave us parcement paper when ee needed it for pizza, he allowed my daughter to sleep e us last night since she didnt manage to sleep well in the school with the team, we were there because of a tournament. The negative here was the cleaning, I feel like they should have cleaned better before we arrived, specially in the kitchen. "Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sofort abgebrochen und mussten uns ein Hotel suchen. Die Bilder der Ferienwohnung sind stark geschönt und entsprechen in keiner Weise der Realität. Es stinkt überall, die Möbel sind durchgesessen, die Kissen sind gelb verfärbt und die Bettdecken sind fleckig. Von außen blättert die Farbe großflächig ab. "Die Lage des Ojektes war sehr schön. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Mit der Sauberkeit waren wir nicht ganz zufrieden. Diese hätte besser sein können. Von der Einrichtung der Küche war alles reichlich vorhanden. Die Terrasse ist sehr gross und und wir haben den Blick auf den Fjord und die Berge sehr genossen. "When it says parking not near hotel it means you have to walk a trail for about 200 yards to the cabin. Was not marked and made it very difficult to find the cabin..we ended up locating it by matching houses in the area to the picture on VRBO and one in our party made his way over walls to find the front door and key to make sure it was our property then walked it back to our car. "Dated facility. Clean room, comfortable bed, but no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee. It’s the first hotel we’ve stayed at in Norway that didn’t offer that. No mini frig in room. We asked about using their sauna, but were told it’s out of order indefinitely as when it’s turned on it sets off the fire alarm. We were very underwhelmed with the meals. Dinner was very bland with very limited choices. Breakfast wasn’t the best either. Several things set out to choose from in small dishes that were unidentifiable for us. Most hotels label the food choices so you know what it is. Nothing walkable from the hotel for other restaurant choices. I’d suggest finding another hotel instead of this one. "

"We enjoyed our one night stay at Scandic Hotel in Haugesund. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was as expected and bed comfortable. Room was quiet. Breakfast was excellent! Such a variety and many fresh options! The area of town was plain, and for some reason there are multiple Thai massage businesses nearby, but easy to walk to the waterside and main shopping street. Overall, would recommend for an economical and pleasant stay."
