From the moment we arrived at Sandy Beach we felt relaxed and comfortable. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly and we were checked in within minutes (despite us being an hour early) and could drop our bags off in the room and start exploring immediately. Overall the hotel was kept very clean by the attentive maintenance staff and rooms were serviced daily with fresh towels included. Outside the grounds were maintained to a high standard. Sandy Beach is an all-inclusive venue and the food was excellent throughout our stay. I think this kind of all-inclusive buffet style service is always a bit hit or miss but as a family of four we always found something to our taste and actually chose to eat in most nights because the food was of such a good standard. Breakfast and lunch were the same although we missed lunch most days as we were out and about exploring the beautiful island of Kos. A special mention has to go to the staff at Sandy Beach who were amazing throughout. All of them were helpful, friendly and always carried out their job with a smile. The only negative I would have is that smoking in public places in Greece is still not banned as it is in other EU countries so you still get people smoking in the bar areas (but not in the restaurant thankfully). I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again and my kids said they would love to come back to Kos which I like to think was somewhat down to our experience at this hotel.

Nice hotel next to the beach

Nice hotelarea. No huge buildings. Its like a small village. Nice hotelrooms. Nice food. Big parking area Good variety of the dishes at the main restaurant. We prefer the coffee from the bars. The wine from the italian restaurant, and the food from the main restaurant. The taverna is a very nice option to have a pleasant dinner with perfect service. There works one of the best waiter from hotel sandy beach called ALEX. He's very competent, attentive and amusing. The variety of the food is a little smaller. Unfortanately no great selection. But very tasty, and many excellent wines!! Another outstanding person of hotel sandy beach is the barkeeper from the cocktail bar called TOLIS. He's also very competent, generous, an communicative. He's doing a great job. I think most of the staff, love their jobs. You can feel it. So we had a very nice, recreative, relaxing stay.

Nice hotel near de Beach and good Staff

Very cozy and quiet hotel very close to the beach. They had a problem with the room and the solution was immediate by the hotel staff. We will be safe again.

Hotel Sandy Beach?!?

Hotel non da quattro stelle e non adatto agli italiani. All Inclusive ristretto, orari limitati. Cibo poco vario e con poche portate. Al buffet della colazione manca l'espresso, lo puoi avere solo al bar che apre alle 10. Oltre le 23 non servono più drink e li devi pagare. Per non parlare dell'acqua che vi consiglio di acquistare in bottiglia.

Excellent Week!

We had a wonderful week's break in April. The hotel had only been open a few days & we just couldn't fault it! The staff were very efficient & friendly. The hotel looked like new & was kept extremely clean. There was always a great selection of food every meal time (although could have been a bit hotter) but it was very nice and there was definitely something for everyone. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. It was nice that towels were available for around the pool too. We requested blankets (as it was cold at night) & a hair dryer & straight away they were arranged & brought to our room. Great location opposite a lovely beach. We hired a jeep from the onsite hire company to view some of the island and would highly recommend this as it was a great day out. We loved our stay & only wish we could have stayed longer (especially as the weather was improving!). We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Sandy Beach again.

Super Sandy beach

Magnifica vacanza in questo bellissimo resort! Struttura nuova e molto pulita, aree comuni ben curate. In assoluto la più bella camera che abbiamo avuto in tutti i nostri viaggi. Personale attento alle esigenze del cliente è sempre disponibile e pronto a risolvere qualsiasi problematica. Cibo di ottima qualità, in particolare mi è piaciuta la presenza costante dello chef in sala a controllare che tutto fosse ok!! Molto carina e romantica la taverna greca! L'unica cosa da migliorare la palestra soprattutto per quanto riguarda l'areazione ( Climatizzatori ).

Hôtel bien situé proche de la plage

Hôtel situé en bord de plage, attention à la formule all inclusive, les cocktails ne sont pas compris, les cafés glacés non plus! Pour les enfants, les glaces ne sont servies qu'à partir de 16h au bar de la piscine, un seul parfum et durée limitée... Les boissons au bar ne sont comprises que jusqu'à 23h, ensuite payantes! Le personnel n'est pas très sympathique mis à part une ou deux personnes. Il est anormal qu'un tour operator français puisse proposé ce produit à des voyageurs Français, en effet toutes les animations sont en allemand, du reste cet hôtel est occupé en majorité par des allemands!! Par rapport aux hôtels avoisinants de même catégorie que j'ai pu visiter lors de mon séjour, cet hôtel est décevant! Pas de bar, de toilettes et de snack à la plage, ceci est pourtant indispensable pour un hôtel de cette catégorie.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

What really defines this hotel is the excellent calibre of staff. Whether bar staff, reception, restaurant or housekeeping all were unfailingly courteous, charming and helpful, with great sense of humour too! The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well presented, food in all restaurants is great, though the buffet format does get a bit repetitive, entertainment is geared towards the mainly German clientele, only negative for me was the amount of smokers. With regard to the rooms, I would think a refurb is required as the decor and furniture is rather tired and on the verge of shabby - really didn't bother us too much as the pools and outdoor space was fantastic and the beach just fabulous. We would certainly return without hesitation.

Io e la mia fidanzata abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel dal 6 al 13 ottobre 2013,ci siamo trovati benissimo,sia come personale sempre sorridente e disponibile,sia con il cibo dei vari ristoranti,nel all inclusive era compresa qualsiasi COSA,senza limiti di consumo.l'hotel offriva anche un noleggio di moto-auto-bici ad un prezzo davvero conveniente.

E' un'ottima struttura ben posizionata a 100 metri dal mare . Camere piccole ma ben pulite, cibo nel ristorante abbastanza vario e buono, ottima la taverna greca all'interno. La descrizione della camera che ho prenotato non è stata rispettata al mio arrivo ed inoltre un problema abbastanza sgradevole è che consegnano solo una chiave per camera che serve anche per accendere il condizionatore e le luci e quindi quando non si è in camera l'aria condizionata non funziona e vi lascio immaginare il caldo all'interno. Complessivamente una buona struttura.

Friendly family hotel.

It was a great holiday. As a plus I have to write: - Greek taverna where the unique atmosphere and very good food. - 2 large swimming pools plus two children - Very close to the beach 50m, (beach with a more friendly entrance to the sea is 200 meters away heading to the left as you leave the hotel. - Good quality beer (included in all inclusive) Disadvantages are: poor evening entertainment Evening's in Marmari are boring. It's a very small town where there are 5 restaurants and all that. I recommend the hotel for families with children.
