Great place

Great location, right between Suriah shopping centre and Jesselton Quay. Staff were lovely and super accomodating. The rooftop was a great spot to swim and get beers after and watch the sunset.

Staff extremely nice and helpful and hotel spotlessly clean. Decent facilities although a little older. Breakfast has wide selection of basic foods. Coffee not so great but lots of coffee shops near by. Very convenient location.

Nice spacious rooms and good views over the sea. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight negatives was tgat the bars clided at 10pm which is a littke early, and some of the "hot" breakfast items were not kept that hot. But overall thoroughly recommend the Grandis when staying in Kota Kibabalu and we would not hesitate to stay again.

The family room we booked for 3 persons was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was huge and spacious. We enjoyed our stay. The front desk service staff - Irfan and Eva were very friendly and helpful. Irfan gave us some information and tips on where to eat and how to walk. He was very patient and smiley all the time. We were happy with the room and the service.

Based on my observations and comparing with some hotels that I stayed before, I shared with PIC at related areas of responsibility and most importantly they listed and noted those areas that I mentioned and recommended for improvement. This means they are interested to continuously improve and become better, this energy is positive. Overall, I am glad to stay there as very conveniently located together with Siri’s Shopping Mall, I did some shopping and dine there too. In fact the in-dining I ordered a roasted salmon was simply delicious 👌

We made two separate visits within the same week. Welcome was very different. First time no welcome porters and we carried own luggage in and up to our room. Receptionists were more formal and treated it more like a business. Second we had a great experience- were greeted by porters who carried bags in and took up to our rooms. Reception gave a very warm greeting and very chatty. Breakfast was great with wide selection of food. Pool was nice and clean with few people using it. We couldn’t find anyone to get towels from though. Hotel was clean throughout. Rooms were nice and big. Our request for maintenance was met within a few minutes and simple problem solved. Great location for the mall which you could access straight from the hotel.

Wonderful stay at Grandis

Wonderful location, right next to the mall and connected to the hotel. Was given a partial seaview and room is big and spacious. Aircon is not that strong though.

Underwhelming.

Arrived on the eve of christmas. It was evident the hotel is shortstaffed. we had to carry our luggages from the car to the lobby. the management has failed to plan for this. The value for money is not great either. The room is decent but not great. The breakfast (for the price) is too expensive for the spread. bear in mind, there are other great hotels in the city for cheaper price. you are paying for the location and thats it.
