This hotel was absolutely fantastic! In a great location as it was only a 10 minute walk to the centre! Plus the stage where extremely friendly and helpful when we had any questions or request!

Second stay at aparthotel Oberza, such a gem. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. Every room is different with lots of fun and unique touches. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Hot shower with good pressure, the provided slippers are appreciated. Breakfast is very good, I need the recipe for their plum cake (heavenly). Historic area with lots of cafes and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Poland!

The location was quite good, still a little bit of a walk to the old town and castle. Staff were very friendly and even allowed us to check in late which was good. Room was reasonably clean. The room facilities are below what aparthotel wpuld offer. Room was very small and cramped. No space even for a table. The bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable we kept waking up during the night because of the pain and waking up in the morning with back pain. You could hear noises coming out of the coorridor. If you are looking for comfortable sleep this is not the room I would recommend.

There are a lot of places to eat nearby. The beds weren't super comfortable, but also not the worst bed I've had in a hotel. I thought the hotel was super cool. You can see that the stairs have a history and so much character!

Well located, clean and characterful property. Rooms are tiny and not particularly comfortable for anything except sleeping in, not well equipped.. There is a breakfast offering which was ok, staff were friendly but not proactive. It was.a decent stay but I wouldn't stay there again

Dirty room and not fresh food
Got food poisoned in the restaurant, unpleasant stuff and dirty room: found a whole nail on the bathroom floor. Food was bad, like really disappointingly bad both breakfast and the proper restaurant. I got bad food poisoning from it. Won’t be coming back. Krakow is amazing and full of lovely hotels, this wasn’t one of them

It would have been good to know that there was no cleaning of the rooms. We had no problems with not having our rooms cleaned but we had Some litter and there was only one really small litter box in the room. Except for that we where very satisfied, really nice rooms and the interior in the hotel was very nice.

Gem of a hotel, lots of character, a very well run family business. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. The Old Town in Krakow May be the heart of the city, but it beats in Kazimierz where this hotel is located. Lots of restaurants and bars located nearby although the hotel is on a quiet street.

Everything about our stay was wonderful!
Thrilled to have stumbled upon the gem that is Aparthotel Oberza - we were unsure what to expect when we initially booked as the price was incredibly low for our 7 night stay (around £30 a night & I wouldn't have considered staying in a UK hotel as cheap as this! But, the hotel is amazing. A lovely, unique,family owned boutique hotel in the heart of the historic Jewish Quarter, oozing with character and with some of the best restaurants you will find in Krakow on its door step. From the warmth of the greeting by the lovely receptionist when we first arrived, to the beautiful room, onsite excellent restaurant (try the pork chop which at less than £6 was sensational!!) everything about our stay here was wonderful. Your a 5/10 minute stroll to Wawel Palace, 15 mins to the Historic Old Town, Schindlers Factory is a 20 minute walk and you really are in the heart of the beautiful Kazimierz when you stay here. You are spoilt for choice with bars and restaurants on your doorstep, (visit the Singer Bar & yry the lasagna in the Warsztat restaurant its amazing) though this being said you dont hear a peep from the outside world once youre in the hotel. Trips to Auschwitz, Saltmines, Eagles Nest tour, Zakopane etc can all be arranged to collect from your hotel - we used MrShuttle.com who were excellent and offer airport transfers to! Don't hesitate to stay here, you will have a wonderful time - we will be back when we visit Krakow again!

Centrally located, helpful staff and the best part, i wanted to get a cab to go to the train station and for different reasons none of the apps worked, well the owner checked my ticket and told me, i will take tou right now, to ensure that you can catch the train. I'm very thankful thst he did and the whole stay was ver pleasant, i highly recommend it.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is gorgeous, full of old-world charm. In a fun, lively (but not noisy) neighborhood. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The room was very clean and comfortable!

Great little place!
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, arranged airport transfer for a very reasonable price. Very attentive, friendly staff and the breakfast was great. Great position for walking into the Old Town, 15 min walk tops. I would definitely recommend to others

Positives: The desk staff was very nice and helpful. Not a bad walk to the old town area. Negatives: Breakfast was not very good. Very limited items to chose from. The beds were not comfortable. The worst thing was every morning at 7am, the cleaning staff would start making all kinds of noise near our door. Unfortunately, were put right by their supply room and it did not sound like they cared too much about making noise at that early hour. Street noise continued all night just outside of our window. Tough to get much sleep at this hotel. Paid parking was a pretty fair walk from the hotel as no one is allowed to park in the area of the hoyel.

We are aware of street noise and parking difficulties. Kazimierz district is one of first in europe green areas with restricted car movement for improving air quality. It is a proper way of improving our City, but it comes with some difficulties which all of us have to overcome. We are very sorry to hear about the disturbing noises of our cleaning stuff. Fabulous boutigue hotel with lots of character, great food and within easy walking distance to the Jewish quarter, Old town and the pick up points for out of town trips to Auschwitz and the Salt mines. Staff are very friendly and helpful and rooms very clean and well maintained. Points to note, there is no tea/ coffee making facilities but bottled water supplied daily and rooms to the front of the hotel may have some street noise. A great find and one I would recommend and return to when next visiting Krakow.

My friend and I had a fantastic stay in Krakow. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend . The hotel is located in the Jews quarter and everything is accessible by foot. Booked our trips with the hotel on arrival had a lovely stay. Would go again.

Great location & food options!
This lovely boutique hotel is in a great location in the Jewish quarter, but still easy to walk to the touristy town square. The restaurant in the basement is INCREDIBLE, and the restaurant next door is also good. Friendly, helpful staff. Plus, you can’t beat the price!

Perfect location
Location great - obviously in Jewish quarter but only 10-15 mins to ghetto / schindlers factory / Vistula side and 15-20 mins to Wavell / old town. Plenty of bars/ restauaranrs etc. Hotel very quaint, staff very friendly and helpful. Only niggles, as these are minor, were pillows flat as pancakes, oven little grimey so didn’t feel wanted to use and sofa bed designed that bottom sheet just sits on it, rather than having fitted so just kept coming off. These are minor things and wouldn’t stop me recommending the hotel or area.

Stayed in room 11 which is at the front, the rooms definitely have a unique charm and ours was generally comfortable. We had no fridge to keep drinks cool but this is minor. The bar in the courtyard garden was priced well and the waiters were efficient and personable, the underground part of the restaurant fits well. The staff are beyond helpful and really couldn't to more for us, recommending places to see, eat and drink, even arranging an early breakfast so we could enjoy a trip out. The location is close enough to walk around all of Kazimierz comfortably.

Nice location, staff were lovely, and always helpful. Rooms were nice, only small issue would be pillows were too soft and I didn’t like the shower (although my husband loved it). Breakfast was fine, but not always topped up when things ran low. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, food was lovely and not overpriced.

Good points were lovely rooms, very clean, fantastic and helpful staff, amazing restaurant ( excellent selection of wines) for all meals and breakfast was tasty with eggs cooked to order. I can not praise the reception staff enough as they were so helpful. About 15 minutes steady walk to the old town area, but excellent location for exploring the Jewish Quarter with its synagogues, churches, bars, cafes and interesting shops. Great value for money. On the slightly negative side you have to remember there is no lift and there are 3 floors. (4 if you include the part of the restaurant in the cellar) so disabled access may be an issue.
