Poor communication and clothes drain so no shower for three days

It actually would have ended up to be a nice stay EXCEPT.....Unknown to us the shower drain was clogged so when I attempted to take a shower it caused the water to overflow. Even though I turned it off as quickly as I could it was all over the floor and Hall. We took a mop and bucket and many towels and cleaned it up so it wouldn’t cause any floor damage to the owner. I called owner and they responded that they will leave us more towels and have someone fix it. They asked me to leave the keys in the lockbox which I did for the remainder of our stay. I never heard from the owner again and shower was never fixed. I continued to contact owner during our stay and I was ignored and shower was never fixed. We were unable to take a shower for the three days while in Krakow. I have never complained about any rental I have had and I have had many over the years. This was truly unacceptable. I have contacted VRBO and so far I have not received any help. I am extremely disappointed since I have never had such poor service in the past. Hopefully this can be rectified by either the owner or VRBO.
