The Space:

Casa Presioso is a luxurious two-story villa on the edge of Santa Barbara, offering breathtaking views of the sea, Kralendijk, and Klein Bonaire, a private pool, a tropical garden, and special amenities for divers and snorkelers.



General description of the villa



Casa Presioso is located on a private cul-de-sac at the border of Santa Barbara. Its elevated position offers spectacular, unobstructed panoramic views of the sea, Kralendijk, and Klein Bonaire, stretching from the Slagbaai National Park in the north to beyond the salt pans in the south!



The villa is surrounded by a beautiful 1,088 m² garden with dozens of palm trees, bougainvillea, oleanders, and tuturutus blooming year-round. The location is ideal for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, with several dive sites nearby.



The layout of the villa



The villa features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All rooms have luxurious double box-spring beds, air conditioning, and ceiling fans with remote control. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, while the other two bedrooms share the second one. On request, the double beds can be separated into singles.



The open kitchen in the living area is fully equipped: from quality knives and a large collection of pots, pans, and utensils, to all the appliances a cooking enthusiast could wish for, including 2 ovens, a large gas stove with wok burner, spacious refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, blender, chopper, hand and stick mixers, dishwasher, toaster, 3 coffee machines (filter, pads, and capsules), citrus juicer, and even a slow cooker.



Outside you’ll find a private pool with a spacious sun deck, a veranda with a lounge area, and two outdoor dining rooms with large tables: one by the BBQ outdoor kitchen and a second on the breakfast/dinner terrace on the upper floor. On the ground floor, there’s a second fridge for cooling drinks by the pool, on the lounge bench, or in the hammock.



With solar panels, a solar water heater, LED lighting, and greywater recycling for garden irrigation, Casa Presioso contributes to sustainability and a more eco-conscious holiday experience.



Casa Presioso is especially suitable for divers and snorkelers: on the side of the house, you’ll find 3 rinse tanks for dive gear and underwater cameras, plus a lockable drying area.



The villa is also perfect for remote workers and digital nomads: Casa Presioso offers unlimited access to the fastest available fiber internet on Bonaire (> 100Mb). A computer (iMac) and laser printer are also available.

Totally lived up to the photos!

The villa looked wonderful in the photos and it totally lived up to them! I didn't realize that the bedrooms were on the lower floor, and the living area upstairs, but that was fine. The living area has wonderful views to enjoy with the morning coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Presioso. The home was well-equipped and had a great set up for our scuba gear. The view from the patio is amazing. The location is perfect for divers - just minutes from Dive Friends shop and equally close to the northern and southern dive sites.

Comfortable home for enjoying Bonaire

Set a little higher up, so you get the cooler breezes, but still have a beautiful view of the ocean. The home is just as advertised: fitted out for having meals in, and maintained well. Many places to lounge around: the deck on the front of the house, the deck on the back of the house, the patio by the pool—each furnished for sitting or dining or lounging. Communications from the host and the owner were both timely and informative. We opted to rent the loaner trucks en it was also very good.

Bonaire Beauty

This home is a gem situated on a lot that felt very private with panoramic views of the ocean. The primary bedroom bed was incredibly comfy and the air conditioner kept us comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and the welcome snacks & drink were appreciated. There isn't a microwave - no big deal. There were many comfy seating areas to choose from. We loved watching all the birds - parrots, troupials, & doves and the sunsets were stunning. The pool was very private and nice to relax in after a day in the ocean. The dive rinse stations were also convenient. Home is about 8 mins from main downtown area. Owners & host were super helpful & responsive!

We loved our stay here despite a few hiccups.

The highlights of this house are the views, the pool, and the peaceful surroundings. Roel and Nathalie were excellent to work with. Communication was great and they were very accommodating with the problems we had. The vehicle we rented from Roel was a bust and we lost several days of being able to travel freely. Not their fault but it was disappointing nonetheless. There is no microwave which I failed to notice in the listing. The AC is limited to the three bedrooms on the lower level. The kitchen and main living area is upstairs and with no AC it gets very hot and uncomfortable especially the first few days trying to adjust to the weather. My wife got stung by a scorpion that found its way into her shoe inside the home. That was a rough way to end 2024. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved Bonaire.

In Zusammenhang mit den beiden Gastgebern Roel & Mariëlle und der Unterstützung vor Ort durch Nathalie - sie verwaltet das Anwesen - durften wir zum zweiten Mal einen unvergesslich schönen Urlaub auf der wunderschönen Insel Bonaire genießen. Sympathischer, herzlicher und schöner ist nach unseren Erfahrungen nicht möglich. Schafe nur, dass wir nicht mehr als fünf Sterne vergeben können.

Wonderful vacation rental

The property is beautiful! It is in a neighborhood, but the landscaping makes it to where it is very private! The pool was wonderful, perfect to cool off in and relax. The kitchen has pretty much anything you need to cook with. Well stocked in seasonings too! We took advantage of the rental truck they offered and so glad we did. We used the truck to go around the island to all the different dive sites. We had a few, little issues but brought those to Nathalie attention so hopefully they are able to address those prior to the next visitors stay. They were having a “heat wave” while we stayed. Evidently this was cause to have rolling blackouts. According to locals it happens more frequently due to the growing population exceeding the power grids ability to keep up. We had 3 nights in a row where power was out for 5-7 hours. I won’t lie that was tough, especially in the middle of the night. Since power outages are a known thing on the island a generator would be a great addition to the house. Access to cleaning supplies would be a nice addition as well. We would have loved an all purpose cleaner to be able to wipe down the counters, sink, etc… especially after using the kitchen. The A/C in the bedroom worked great. There is only A/C in the bedrooms so plan meals accordingly. The kitchens heats up quickly and if the wind isn’t blowing in the right direction it gets hot quickly! Overall a wonderful experience.

Our Home Away from Home

We just spent another glorious month at Casa Presioso and thoroughly enjoyed it. We keep coming back, and in fact booked our next year’s vacation while we were there. The reasons we return every year are manifold: great pool with fantastic privacy; lots of fun wildlife around the property including lizards, parrots, and hummingbirds; mosquito netting around the beds with air conditioning if you need it; conveniently located and in a quiet area of Bonaire; responsive property manager nearby (though we hardly ever have had to call her); great range of appliances and utensils. And everything works as it should. Highly recommended. Lovely stress-free relaxation!

Great location for divers

Charming house surrounded by a lovely garden, that turns the breakfast table into bird watching spot. Spacious house with a lot of places to relax on balconies and terasse with pool. Well equipped kitchen. Not brand new but all well maintained, clean and charming. For divers the outside washing and storage facility (including storage boxes) is a real comfort factor. Located in a quiet neighbourhood the house is far enough away from cruise ship tourism but centrally located on the island so everything is easily reached and you can feel as a temporary member of the island community. Great base for independent divers to explore the really amazing under water world of Bonaire. Very friendly and effective communication with house owners and their local representative. So all logistics around rental, airport pickup was very smooth and easy. Overall excellent and highly recommendable experience!

Great Vacation

The property was absolutely beautiful. It is a small island so everything is really close by car. We rented the truck that the property has and it was great for getting around. The pool was a huge win for my 7 year old daughter. Any issues we had, were promptly addressed. I definitely recommend this property for your trip to Bonaire.

Absolutely gorgeous house, wonderful stay

The house is really lovely, the pool and patio area (as well as the upstairs deck with seating for 6) are perfect. We were on Bonaire for our second dive trip (stayed in a condo by the airport the first time) and loved this location. The house is the perfect size for 6 people (two couples and two teenagers who shared a room) and the owners are extremely responsive. The AC in the bedrooms is icy cold, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is extremely well stocked (blender, crockpot, bbq grill, etc all in excellent shape). The (optional) truck rental worked great as well. Not a single complaint. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

Perfect private villas

We had a fantastic month-long stay at Casa Presioso and we had a wonderful time. The house is slightly off the street, making for a quiet and private residence. In addition, large bushes around the house make for even greater privacy. You might hear your neighbours in the distance, but you will never see them from the back patio/pool. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices, dishes, pots, pans, and tupperware. We probably used just about everything there. The appliances work very well. We agree with other reviews that the downstairs fridge truly is a godsend for lounging around the pool/patio. It will need to be replaced should it ever go on the fritz! The bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and clean. We especially enjoy the mosquito netting around all the beds. The patio and upstairs outdoor eating area are both perfect and well shaded. Finally, the best reason for us to stay there (over and above the great facilities listed above) is the many birds, lizards and iguanas that make their home in and around the property. Great fun to watch (and listen to!). Highly recommended. We booked our next stay before we even finished our current holiday. I think that says it all.

Brilliant Home & Hosts!

The property was exactly as advertised and the option to rent their vehicle during our stay an added bonus. The house was more than spacious for our family of five and the pool/deck area well set up for relaxing outside without cooking in the sun! Multiple outdoor spaces with water views

Stunning ocean views in front and sides and lush garden view in rear with totally private pool. Outdoor patios facing west and southeast. Caretaker Natalie is kind and helpful and does airport transfers. We will return with other family members. Cannot be topped!!!!
