Quiet location

Spacious room (family size), comfortable bed. Quiet location and close to nature. Simple breakfast, could be better. It's possible to rent the car charging station for 100 kr for the whole night (if Tesla). There's a small kitchen, but we didn't use it. Loved the stay!

Theater and geocaching

We were in the neighbor primarily to go to the Wermlands opera. And to geocache of course. Easy check in , nice rooms and good parking. A good breakfast without any luxuries. Sandwiches, cooked eggs and ceral. Glutenfri bread was available also.

Simple hotel, very comfortable beds, simple breakfast not up to large chain hotels, but Ok for a simple breakfast. No front staff at reception in the mornings, so if you need a receipt of stay you have to get it the night before. No evening meals either. But rooms were good, although, the bathroom, could do with an update, albeit still functional. Would i stay again, .....yes i would.

I have stayed in this property before and like the area. You are in a nice residential neighborhood with a short walk to the lake and path, 45 min. roundtrip. Very relaxing. The food is the standard Scandinavian breakfast. There are a few options for lunch and dinner within walking distance but the other options are in Kristinehamn 5-11 minutes away. The room had a small refrigerator so one could buy food at ICA Maxi like a bread roll and deli-meat, roasted chicken…etc. The restaurant scene is not that vibrant, mostly pizza/kebab restaurants. Like many smaller hotels in Sweden reception hours are short and service is not available during most hours. Especially if you travel off season like me; late April through May where I was one of 5 guest at this hotel during my stay. Recommend you do not show up earlier that the 3 pm checkin time as now one is there. I got there at 2 pm and took a nice walk by the shore and returned at 3 pm for checkin. Also I had one hotel on this trip that had a no checkin beyond 7 pm policy. My reason for coming to this area is my family’s grave at Kristinehamns Nya Kyrkogård about 6 minutes by car from this hotel.

Easy parking next to hotel. Convenient check in. Worn & oöd room that could use some renovation starting from the very aged bathroom. Breakfast was much better than what some other reviews mentioned.

Helt okej hotell, bra och tillräckligt utbud på frukosten. Mottagandet i receptionen har dock mer att önska och det kändes som att den som jobbar där hellre sitter med sin telefon än att kommunicera med gästerna och det finns en stor förbättringspotential där. För övrigt ett ganska bekvämt boende.

Väldigt slitet och nergånget nästan lite tragiskt. Receptionen ofta obemannad Frukosten var som en vanlig hemmafrukost. Frysta baguetter och överkokta ägg och kaffe som smakade beskt.
