"We had a very good night Sansuikan Kawayu Matsuya. They share hot springs and the restaurant with a nearby hotel. Hot springs are the absolute standout: fantastic! Food is good and plentiful. Our room had a brilliant view. All the rest is okay, although the exterior of the building is not nice."

"the place is an island on it's own and looks like a James Bond villain base from the outside. Inside it's got so many baths and just cool areas to explore. The room itself is comfortable and there's even a little convenience store near the front desk so you can get room snacks easily. I picked up some of the pickled plum udon noodles to cook at home and they were delicious! Meals are a little crowded as they're buffet style but the food itself is amazing and so many different things to try. I recommend coming here at least once and staying two nights if you can."

"Exceptionally kind and helpful staff. The set breakfast was a standout—grilled fish with a beautiful spread of side dishes. Clean and relaxing onsen with both indoor and outdoor options. Room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the bay. Bonus: separate toilet and bath/shower setup, which was convenient."

"My husband and I were very blessed to be able to stay here for 2 nights. We loved staying here, especially the second day. Wish we were able to stay here another night to enjoy lounging around more since we spent the second day seeing the Seiganto-ji Temple Sanjuno-to 3-Storied Pagoda and that surrounding area. As for the review of this Ryokan, we appreciate how this place has their own luggage service when you're at the dock, which we found to be helpful. Since we stayed for 2 nights, the meals were different on the second day, which we like the dinner on the second day more than the first. We find it a bit surprising as we'd think the first day dinner should be more of a show-stopper. However, it wasn't the case for us, but the dinner on the second night made us consider coming back here in the future. Besides that, we love the view from our room because it's gorgeous watching the sunrise. We also really like the service, especially the young female who assisted us explaining the meal in English on the second night for dinner and our breakfast on the last day. She was very sweet and remembered us. She also suggested to take pictures for us. Unfortunately, we didn't catch her name."
