“Our stay at Te Dalu was exceptional. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town. Our room faced the hillside and had a wonderful view of the temple on the hill, and in the morning with opening the balcony doors allowed us to listen to chants and the sounds of birds and monkeys while waking up. “The views from the balcony are unbelievable and can watch the train go past. Rooms were clean, spacious, modern and all the essentials were provided. The fridge was stocked with coke, water, beers all for free. Dina was the best host, could not do enough for us and made our time very special there, constantly giving us lifts into the town when needed as was 20 minute drive into town. He even waited until 1am one night to take us back home after a night out. Would highly recommend this place. ”

“spotless rooms, comfortable bed, really helpful and friendly staff with good breakfasts. be aware the hotel is at the top of quite a steep hill, we enjoyed the walking but maybe consider using a tuktuk if you're not a fan! overall this was probably the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka”
