「Just wanted a place to hang out and boy did this place accomplish! Beverly and Donnis met us to go over the intricacies of ranch live/security (or rules). Set a great tone. Had the windows open one night and heard all the birds and outdoors life. Reminded me of the family get- to-gathers of my youth. Nice touches like water, ice, coffee, blankets, pillows, but most of all "quiet". Not sure what it would be like if there was an event going on at the pavilion, but knowing myself, I would have...

「We got this place for a gameday weekend. And it was the perfect retreat from the crazy busyness once the game was over. Super quiet and peaceful out in the country. That said, it takes a little longer to get back to, especially with the traffic after games. I personally think the trade-off is worth it to have a comfortable retreat. Property owner is absolutely the nicest and most responsive host. Any issues you (probably won't) have should be handled quickly.」

「We stayed May 8-11, 2024 at the Whitlock Cabin as we were in town for our son's A&M graduation. The communication from the owners was excellent ahead of time. They were friendly, helpful, and joined us in celebrating the graduation with their communication including emails and a personal note when we arrived at the cabin. 「Great to get away from the busy Texas A&M campus and host a bbq in the country. Fresh eggs daily from the chickens. The owners even joined us for the graduation celebration. We will be back!」

「I really liked this property because the photos make you think that you are all alone on the property in the country. When we arrived we found out that the cabin is actually in the back of the property. There is a house in the front of the property that I would assume belongs to the owners. The location of the cabin made me feel like it was a guest house. Otherwise it was very quite and no one bothered us while we were there. The host was very sweet and helpful.」
