Good value for money

Our room was on the ground floor and set back from the noisy bars at the front of the property in Poppies Lane1 so we had no problem sleeping at night. The services and amenities was very basic as was the breakfast. However, it's close proximity to Poppies and Uns Restaurants in Poppies Lane1 made up for all that. Great Location

Our room was problematic on arrival

The garden and pool are quite nice and there is an attached "Cuban" restaurant. We were put in the dormatory-style three story building, containing at least 24-rooms, which seemed empty. Our room was problematic. The Good: - good water pressure & hot water - a/c effective & quiet - security safe works - fridge works - ceiling fan works - all lights work - breakfast was light but fresh, with a pot of coffee / tea and quick delivery - pool area and garden were nice The Bad: - TV colour no good, door handle broken - dodgy WiFi, often slow or not working - bedside lamp shades need replacement - terrace was dusty / dirty - bathroom windows were dirty / won't fully close - additional bar soap was not provided by housekeeping - odd breakfast routine - the entrance route to the dormitory-wing rooms is cluttered with junk The Ugly: - spotting dead cockroachs under the vanity and in hallway on our first morning and again in the hallway on third morning - the general (minor) disrepair in this (and I suspect all) dormitory-wing room(s) - visit soon: with this Hotel's management style, you won't want to visit at all by this time next year The Tip: Don't book a cheap 3-star hotel room through booking.com: because you will likely get the worst available room!

ホテルが面している道路が細く、一通に近いためホテル前まで正規料金のタクシーが呼べない(拒否された)。 そこを狙ってかホテル前のコンビニではぼったくりのバイクやタクシーの運転手がたむろしている。

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The gardens were small but neat and very beautiful. The pool was clean and well maintained. For the situation it is in ie the middle of Kuta it was quiet and relaxing

Excellent value and location

Fat Yogis is a comfortable and safe establishment which is quiet but still close to the hustle and bustle of what Kuta has to offer. There are many factors about Fat Yogis that appeal to me, namely: no on-site bar services to attract rowdy behaviour; no on-site all day restaurant but many nearby; no daily room service but readily available on request; not a large number of rooms which means plenty of vacant pool side lounges. The pool and gardens are well maintained and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful. I have stayed in a number of places in Kuta over the years and Fat Yogis is the best and I will continue to return. You get what you pay for and this place offers excellent value. Thoroughly recommended.
