Overall our stay at Bursa Hotel was good. The hotel is within walking distance to the metro & it is in a nice area. The lady that checked us in & out was very friendly and helpful & she always had a smile on her face. Breakfast was good, the room was clean. There were, however, a couple of issues: 1.The temperature in the room was too warm for me & I did request a few times to the staff to lower the temperature but it was still too warm (for some reason we weren't able to adjust the thermostat in the room) 2. The bottom of the bathroom shower glass had a leak, so everytime we took a shower there would be a puddle of water on the bathroom floor.

Staff is everything here!

Food was excellent and great option to have in bed. Rooms were clean and staff very professional. Also helped us organize our wedding night on beautiful terrace outside. Great hotel!

Great hotel with a modern\industrial rustic interior design. The hotel location is not the best, but the vibes made it up for it. The staff was very nice and welcoming. And the entrance is casual and there's always different people either sitting or eating or whatever. I would recommend the hotel only for younger guests (20, 30 year olds).

Bursa hotel offers a unique stay at the heart of Kyiv. However, the only thing that bothered me are the washrooms as it offers no privacy at all. Other than that it was an amazing hotel and an amazing room.

This is my favorite choice when visiting Kyiv for business or tourism. Very good location, well designed interiors, and very attentive staff. The breakfast offers great value.

One of the best hotels in Kyiv. Beautiful contemporary interior design, with attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is great. I've stayed before, and I was really looking to the tasty buffet breakfast, but because of sanitary measures for COVID is now a la carte, and even better. The library is a great place to get some work done.

Nice Friendly Place Away from Home
The Hotel was good. The service provided was awesome. The people working at the hotel were awesome and they made made my stay a very happy one. The wifi connection in the room to my computer had issues but the wifi on my phones were okay. However, the IT manager, Sergei helped me with it and he mentioned that they were in the process of replacing the routers. Thank you Sergei. It was a beautiful and lively hotel in the Podil area of Kiev which was a nice area to be in. A very lively hotel with the privacy of a nice hotel and the liveliness of a hostel. You could feel thr vibrations from the train while at the restaurant but I thought it was something interesting to remember. The restaurant and the hotel setup was rather unique. The staff at the hotel, Iryna, Antonina, Mark, Arthem & Nastya(at the restaurant), Bogdan and not forgetting Enya showed me what hospitality was all about and made my stay a memorable one.They made me feel special like a friend and I felt that I had to write this to thank them.

The style, design of the hotel is great, however there were a few things that really bugged me, i.e. the stopper/softener for the entrance door was inconveniently located on the floor in front of the wardrobe and because u don’t remember it’s there you kick yourself quite often, as well as the distance between a tv and a bed. It’s very narrow and you can bump into one or another. Also because of the location of a tv and a construction/design of the bed , the metal leg is right in the middle of a tv screen so you can’t see a full picture. Cleaning lady shouldn’t change the way you left things, i.e. which shower you prefer to work. Staff is very helpful and friendly, however the staff in a restaurant is very slow and kind of inattentive.

This hotel came up in a ‘family friendly’ list on Expedia. It isn’t. It’s beautiful, spotlessly clean and stylish but a party hotel. For a group of friends happy to be out all hours it would be ideal. We were not. Also beware of booking a windowless room with open bunkbeds. They look nice but this just wasn’t an option for us being stowed away with a 1 year old 7pm-7am with no daylight and a dangerous drop. We were offered another room, which was great but at an additional cost. Unfortunately this turned out to be above a rave come 9pm on Friday. The staff cheerily told us ‘they’ll be a party below your room tonight but there are ear plugs’. Tell that to a one year old. This place needs to decide if it’s a hotel or a nightclub. Fine if you want to blur those boundaries, we didn't.

Never the less when you booked Nice Cubed room there was a clear indication on Expedia that this particular room has no window, when you requested a room with window after check out we were only able to provide you the only room left which was in higher category which was directly above PARAKALO Bar where the party. We consider our self as family friendly hotel, and when ever we see remarks that guests are traveling with children we are always prepare couple of allocation options especially on Friday nights when we have a party, unfortunately your reservation did not have such indication. One of my favorite hotels in the world!
This is not only the best hotel in Kyiv but also one of my favorite hotels in the world. I travel 4 months out of the year and I always get excited to stay here. The staff is awesome and attentive and smart. The area is great. The breakfast is awesome! And they just make you feel at home. I hope they open more hotels!

The cleaning ladies are pushy.... so if you’re going to sleep late make sure you put the thing NOT to be bothered put your door.however this was my fault. This hotel is absolutely excellent. A must stay while in Kiev.

Best place to stay in Kyiv
I totally agree with other reviewers - Bursa is simply the best boutique hotel in the city :) The only thing you guys could make even better is the variety of food for breakfast. I stayed for 6 nights and missed some porridge :) But it's wonderful you have freshly squeezed juices and even sparkling wine! Overall I would say it's 9.9 out of 10 :) See you in October!

Great hotel in a wonderful location with super helpful and friendly staff. Only criticism is perhaps more a flaw of Kiev infrastructure than the hotel itself but our room Did tend to shake every time a tram passed by!

Best in Kiev
Bursa is by far the best hotel in Kiev, hands down no competition with 11 Mirrors and others. The Coffee shop is excellent, the vibe is cool but not stuck up. Roof top is super relaxed, good drinks and decent food. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Bustling feeling without being bussy. This hotel might not be for everyone, the crowd is young with a touch of digital nomad vibe. The area is a up and coming. Only drawback is that if you are a light sleeper the train on the street will be annoying.

Bursa is not your Baba
A very good stay at a true boutique hotel in Kyiv. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and minimal in a good way. Breakfast and bar were top. Local and visiting hipsters were annoying, but a small inconvenience. Library was a good place to work and very quite. A good place to stay in Kyiv.

The hotel is thoughtfully designed in a very modern manner. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our room and arrange airport transfers. We enjoyed the quiet of the library area and excellent food in the restaurant as well.

Our Favorite Hotel in Kiev
We stayed at a few hotels during our trip to Kiev and Bursa Hotel was our favorite. The cafe is a great place to start your day with friendly staff members and an actual good latte. The rooftop bar is cool too with a nice bartender. The location of the hotel is our favorite area in the city, and we enjoyed the old trams that go by the front. It was easy to walk to many cool bars, restaurants, museums etc. The room had everything we needed-good wifi, comfortable bed, and a nice shower. We ordered a pick-up from the airport and the driver was very professional. It is also super cheap and easy to get Uber from here if there is any place far away you want to visit or you can easily catch the metro too. Only a couple of notes to make the place even better* 1) You might want to get some type of concierge app or even use WhatsApp for questions from guests, as for some reason I either wouldn't get a reply to emails or I would get a reply way late to my emails. (Once I arrived I found the staff to be very professional, so this must just be some error with your email system) *2) This one is very simple, but I loved the ginger beer in the room fridge, but I couldn't buy it at the cafe. Having it available there too would be nice. 3) I like the store having locally made items, but it should have more variety. For example: cool postcards/stickers, journals, patches, scarves- small items that you can travel with and all should be made by local artists. That is just my opinion.

The staff goes out of their way to help you with any question, they make you feel welcomed. The rooms are modern and clean and, the food in the restaurant is just exceptional.

Best location in Podil
Great place to stay in the heart of Podil. I feel this area is actually better than the walking street, and that is only a 5 minute walk away if you do like it. The atmosphere here is lively and fashionable, beds are super comfy, breakfast buffet is above average, and the staff are lovely. The best time is, of course, summer since the rooftop part of the bar/restaurant opens up. Most rooms face the trolley track, but the windows are so good you can't even here it, or the partyers from the bar, when you close them. The location is perfect: the blocks surrounding it are *full* of restaurants and bars, the subway is just a block away, and its is near the base of the old street winding up the hill, and the new trendy block just up the way. There are a few things I would change, but they are minor and wouldn't stop me going back: 1) The standard rooms are a bit small for price, though they are immaculate and well thought out. 2) Add a toothbrush/paste in the bathroom. For this price that should be doable, and help those who come in too late to go to the shop around the corner.

I am so pleased to find this wonderful property, in the heart of a beautiful district of Kyiv, walkable to major sites and convenient for business trips tooI have stayed at many different hotels across Kyiv, but this boutique spot is fantastic. It's really well designed, brand new, clean, efficient and the staff was lovely! This will be my go-to spot next time I am in town! Great job and best of luck to Bursa Hotel, really fantastic to stay at a hotel that is Ukrainian owned! A model for the country and a showcase of entrepreneurism!
