"This is a rather old hotel and we had to lay our futon every night. There’s no private shower so we had to take our showers in the public bath area. The staff couldn’t not speak English but the Manager gave us excellent service. He was kind and helpful. He also drove us to the pier to catch the boat to amanohashidate station. "

"BOOK THIS HOTEL! Loved our stay and totally worth the 2.5 hour train ride from Osaka. Was able to check in promptly at 3 p.m. and our bags were whisked away to our room. We immediately received our onsen pass and were able to get in a bath before our kaiseki dinner. The next morning we were able to explore more of the public baths and had an amazing breakfast. The town is amazing with great food options and things to try. But honestly what made this place shine was the people. Hot springs are very nice especially out door one sitting while you see the river in front of you. For sure will book again for this experience if I am in Japan next time."

"ワイナリー訪問の為に利用しました。部屋に冷蔵庫はありませんでしたが、要望通りワインや保冷剤を冷やしてもらえ快適に過ごせました。ありがとうございました。 Stayed for a winery near the hotel. “Amanohashidate Wine” is about 30 mins away from the hotel on foot. The hotel was old, traditional and well maintained. My room has no fridges but the owner accepted my favor to keep my wine in their fridge. He takes care of nature and organic food too."

"Stayed for 1 night and everything was nice. Expected to arrive late due to flight delay and they still served us dinner. A staff picked us up at the train station though it’s only a few minutes walk. The dinner and breakfast are the best I’ve ever had in Japan. The property is spacious and clean. All staff are nice and friendly. Would love to stay there again in the future."
