“Excellent stay here! Specially the service from two gentlemen at front desk, they were being helpful and tried to book cab for us (finding cab is headache in Kyoto!), Also they were able to speak English! The hotel is clean generally, you get a free little complimentary snack box daily if you chose no house keeping service during your stay. Very convenient location from hotel to Gion Shijo where u get all the shopping & food and also easy to walk to Kiyomizu-Dera temple (10 mins walk)! Lovely……

“Very nice authentic onsen hotel, conveniently located just next to the Togetsu-kyo bridge. Private bath in room is also nice and clean, food is good up to general onsen hotel standard, you can see food has been prepared with lots of thought.”

“Lovely bed-and-breakfast inn, with owner staying at one of the units. Convenient location from the main shopping & restaurant area, and also walkable to subway. Hard to hail taxi outside of the hotel when we need to go to the airport. So the hotel calls taxi for us. We waited for about 10 min before the taxi came, which is ok. The room has tatami floor, which is one of the reasons we chose this inn. Room was warm at night, with a temperature control inside the room that we can adjust &……
