“I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it’s a very niche spot located in a quiet area. The room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials a hotel guest could need. Getting there was a breeze—a quick ride from Kyoto Station via Uber, which cost only about USD 10. If you prefer public transport, it's about a 15-minute walk from the nearest station. Overall, it was an awesome stay, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Kyoto.”

“Loved staying here. Room was huge and spacious--much bigger than other hotels in Japan. Neighborhood was quiet and it felt like an experience to be in a more residential part of town than others. That said, it wasn't as close to shopping/restaurants, but there are still plenty of options around. We found that the bus was sometimes more convenient than the subway, and a good way to see the lay of Kyoto. It did take a little bit to get used to the automated system of checking in, but totally fine……

“This was a great choice for my family of five traveling to Kyoto. It was exceptionally clean and the suite was spacious. Free coffee, tea, sake and beer in the lobby was a nice amenity. It was easy to walk to the train station and other local attractions from this location. Riding the train was extremely easy. There were options for dining and coffee within walking distance as well as convenience stores and supermarkets. It was also easy to grab an Uber and receive Uber eats. I loved the shower……
