"Good clean hostel, looks like loads of fun during the high season. Unfortunately, I was visiting during off-season of travel so there wasnt much socializing but they host events almost every night, so there are lots of opportunities to connect and meet people. The only problem I had was the kitchen for the dorms only consists of microwaves and sinks, unless I somehow missed a cooking area."

"Midnight check-in was fast, we had a good 5-6 hours sleep before our next flight early in the morning. Coffee in the room helped us jump-start early. Overall super convenient as it is so close to the airport."

"Breakfast was perfect, but i was given a lesser quality room than my coworker, because i booked through hotels.com and not their website, he was given better rate and a better room. my bed was uncomfortable, and didn't have a coffee maker in my room. "

"Room was clean but super super tiny. As a solo traveller who wanted to spent most my time in the city anyway that was good. With two people it might be too tiny. "

"Would have loved a bath mat because the shower wasn’t closed till the floor so the water went everywhere in the bathroom. But otherwise the room was clean, more spacious than expected. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Super location! Literally close to everything and when it’s not you have the train, tram and busses close by. This is ideal considering I didn’t feel any hindrance of any kind (sound, light,…) and I slept on the side of the street. "

"My first trip to Norway and I hope to return but I will never stay at another Scandic hotel again. The Scandic Torget does not have enough tables in its restaurant. Two days running, I got up from my breakfast table to go and get another coffee, only to find that somebody had taken the table on my return and there wasn't a thing I could do about it. This is a problem particularly for solo travellers. What are we supposed to do? If we leave a bag, book or mobile phone to show the table is in use and it is stolen, the hotel will call us foolish for leaving it unguarded. I have travelled to 6 continents and I had NEVER previously been in the position where I had to argue/fight with other hotel guests over the right to sit at a table where I had already been seated!! This is a disgusting way for guests to be treated. It doesn't matter that one hour at breakfast might be busier than others, a hotel should still have an adequate number of tables. My advice to people heading for Bergen is to book inn at the Radisson or any other hotel rather than Scandic."
