"I'll start with the positives, location is brilliant in that it's right next to the cathedral and close to walk to albayzin and other sights. The main corridor and lobby were also pleasant and nicely decorated with arab andalucian plasterwork. Room was ok size and beds were comfy. On the other hand, service was not ideal in that i called the hotel a few weeks before coming to request a twin room with 2 beds instead of a double to which the guy on the phone said ok. "room was fabulous. you missed the mark on simple things: 1. Should be 9 on phone for operator: USA we use 0 2. I asked for an individual bar of soap and was told none since Covid. what does Covid have to do with providing soap? 3. I asked for a wash cloth: not one in the hotel. 4. Took coffee from restaurant to room for breakfast. I received coffee first, then 5 minutes later came toast. I refused coffee and requested hot coffee."
