I have never and would never book a shared bathroom. The shared bathroom door did not fully close and could only be locked with a hook on the door The room did not seem electrically safe and needed work on the walls as they were being held up with tape. 「Friendly staff, bilingual but also helped us learn som Italian. Nice hotel away from the busy flow of Ventimiglia, but closer enough to be accessible. As many have noted, the hotel sits atop a mountain-- spectacular views-- so the drive up (we used taxis or the bus) is "fun"! We enjoyed the pool, breakfasts on the terrace, and the turtles. A nice spot to get away and perhaps better with ones own car--next time.」
