My friend and I stayed at Up The Creek Cottage as our HQ for our weekend fly-fishing trip. It was conveniently located. The cottage was cozy and warm with all of the nice amenities. The decor was a perfectly matched theme for our weekend getaway. We really enjoyed the area and the proximity to The Stockyard Grill and Saloon. Mingling with the local folk while tossing back a few Wisconsin brews and eating a delicious meal there was a highlight of the trip.

Terrific place to stay!
Had a wonderful stay! Cottage is very charming, walking distance to fun stores and a great restaurant next door! The cottage was cutely decorated and had terrific amenities. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. Definitely coming back again!

Unreasonable expectations
Place in a very odd location- just off the main road and attached to a bar/ restaurant. No kitchen area so you either have to eat out or bring your own food. There isn’t many places to get food nearby. Host was incredibly rude. Expects you to be the housekeeper/ cleaning staff before you leave or she’ll leave you a negative review. Won’t be staying here again.

Perfect for us. We used the washer and dryer once during our stay, so convenient to have access to them. I enjoyed the hunting cabin decor, nicely done. The entry is a step up and down. Someone prone to falls would need to be careful. The refrigerator/ freezer is mostly refrigerator. The beds are excellent.

The place was very comfortable and relaxing. We apppreciated the availability of linens and towels. I would recommend changing that matt in the shower to something more stiff and board like given what it is there for. Thats it! Everything was great!
