Un logement idéal pour une famille ou un groupe d'amis. Chambres spacieuses et agréables ! Terrasses bien aménagées. A dix minutes du débarcadère et des plages. Juste au pied de la montagne pour monter à la chapelle du Calvaire où la vue est splendide.

Si vous recherchez le calme, c'est l'endroit idéal. A 10 min de la plage et des commerces. Jolie vue sur la montagne. Belles ballades au départ de la maison dont une sur le côté nord de l'île (un peu sportive, départ avant la chapelle) sinon en vélo ou scooter vers le souffleur. La maison est telle que décrite, simple mais confortable et accueillante. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.

Un lieu enchanteur !

Il ne faut pas simplement passer à La Désirade : il faut s'arrêter et se laisser absorber par l'atmosphère de cette île fascinante, incroyable, où la gentillesse des habitants joue pour beaucoup ! La maison d'Amandine et Jean Saint-Auret est un lieu idéal pour cela, car elle est très bien située : sur les hauteurs de Beauséjour, proche des magasins d'alimentation et des deux plages, elle est aussi entourée d'un jardin très agréable et dotée d'une terrasse qui est un vrai lieu de vie. La maison, très bien tenue, est spacieuse et confortable. Tout est fonctionnel (ce qui est particulièrement agréable en famille), et Jean a eu la gentillesse de venir nous chercher au port, le soir de notre arrivée. Certains jours, nous ne sommes pas descendus dans le village, afin de profiter du calme. Dans un cadre idyllique, nous nous souviendrons longtemps de cette maison. Car elle a une âme. Merci encore une fois à Amandine et Jean pour leur disponibilité !

Ce n'est pas le grand luxe, des petites améliorations à prévoir en particulier pour la vaisselle et le fond du jardin. Et pourtant on y est très bien : bien placé à 5 mn à pied du centre et quand même en campagne. Belle terrasse au pied de la montagne. Et surtout, un accueil attentif du propriétaire, toujours disponible à la moindre question. Bref, excellent rapport qualité prix, à recommander. Et encore merci !

Très chaleureusement accueilli par le père de la locatrice, la réputation de gentillesse des gens de la Désirade s’y confirme. Cette maison spacieuse comprend tout de pratique, en plus d’offrir à la fois la tranquillité et la proximité des restos, du port, épicerie... Agréable balcon protégé des intempéries et du soleil, BBQ, séchoir, et même qq charmants lézards de compagnie au petit matin...
