Lovely Time Near Norris Lake

We enjoyed our week very much. The house had everything we needed in room for all eight of us for kids for adults. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and so new Mary Beth made the rental process very easy and was super accommodating!

Great house for large group

The house was set up perfectly for our large group. Open spaces, a full kitchen to make meals in, and close proximity to the lake. We did not rent a boat for our stay but having the boat slip was a core reason I wouldn't return. With a group of 14 we had inflatable tubes and kayaks that we tied up in our slip instead and the slip gave us a place to set up for the day and float. The house is new and beautifully decorated. The roads into the house and lake are steep, as expected, and having the golf cart was a great amenity. We hauled our group to the lake in the back of the truck. Then a couple would go back up to park the truck at the house and bring the golf cart down. There is golf cart parking at the boat ramp area, but not vehicle parking.

We stayed at the house for a week-long group trip to off-road the amazing trails available in the area. There were 5 couples - The house is new and everything was spotlessly clean. Kitchen is kitted out with dual fridges so plenty of room for everything we brought and I'm pretty sure we brought everything. The layout of the main level ensured those in the kitchen prepping meals were included in everything. Great open concept. Also located in a gated community so security was never an issue, even leaving coolers and OHV's outside overnight. While all six bedrooms were a little on the small side, they were well appointed with closet space and dressers, so we just unpacked and put the suitcases away instead of living out of them, like we sometimes do. Can't speak for every bed but ours was AMAZING and we were graced with a beautiful view both in the morning and when we retired for the night. Most of the bedrooms had en suites, which is hard to find for a group of our size and hot water was never an issue. We weren't there for the lake so also cannot address the status of the dock or water.MaryBeth was our contact for the stay - she was only a text away and was always quick to respond. Could not have been happier. Thanks, MaryBeth!!!Overall, I highly recommend the property for large groups of friends or family.
