For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). “Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Cabanas Rio Escondido. The property is beautiful, and the pools were nice for relaxing in after a day exploring La Fortuna. Our family apartment had two balconies - one in front and one in back facing the river. Check-in and check out were easy, and we appreciated the recommendations for transportation and restaurants. ”

“Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car. House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need. Our family loved it. Alao they recommended very nice Mexican restaurant and a local shop for empanada which were the best. ”
