“Hotel Sanctuarium is truly a sanctuary. The property is grand and meticulously cared for. Surrounded by tropical jungles, views of the mountains and the valley below, it was by far the best place to stay for our trip to La Fortuna. And it is only a 7 minute drive to the heart of downtown. There is a restaurant on site with exquisite food. Perfect after a long day of activities so we didn’t have to venture back into town every night to find somewhere to eat. “Bauma is a beautiful place to stay. It’s located on a quiet side street, but still close to restaurants/walking area. It’s within 20-30 min from many of the popular hiking activities. The room itself is very thoughtfully put together so you have everything you need (microwave, fridge, utensils, hot plate, coffee pot, robes, etc.). The bathroom is amazing. The patio and balcony offer nice outdoor relaxing spots. The grounds are covered with beautiful flowering plants. This is a 10/10 place to……
